> 3 dayMy new AfterShokz headsets are a nice improvement over my previous in-ear pods. I use them while bike riding so I can listen to audiobooks or music but still hear the traffic. So far they have worked flawlessly and have been a great addition to my exercise routine. There is a small tradeoff in sound quality, but for my needs, it was worth the change.

> 3 dayThis is my 2nd AfterShokz product, and though very pleased with the bone conduction tech and being able to hear whats going on around me, I am deeply disappointed with the choice of non-standard charging cables/connections. Instead of being able to use any one of a multitude of cables I have scattered around to charge my devices, AfterShokz has pulled some proprietary BS with its non-standard magnetic charging connection. With their previous products, I could charge my headset at my desk, by my bedside, in either car, at work, on the go borrowing a cable at a friends house. WIth the Aeropex model, we are limited to using only their proprietary charging cable (yes, they do provide two cables, but at which of my several charging locations do I keep them? Its another set of wires we have to keep track of, which is ironic since the product is a wireless headset. Its a minor point, but an idiotic move. So annoyed, so very annoyed.

> 3 dayI am not an Audiophile, but I do know good audio. I own AudioTechnica AD900s and HyperX Cloud Orbits. My mobile solutions have been limited to a pair of cheap true wireless (the same ones everyone has) an the wired AKGs that came with my Samsung devices. Neither sound bad, but they arent my Cloud Orbits either. I hate having earbuds in my ear and/or having something bulky on my head for periods of time. These seemed to be what I wanted but the sound quality reviews had me worried. I went to a local store that had them on display to try. Let me tell you, temper your expectations and you will be happy. They sound slightly muffled and lack some bass, but they sound better than the AKGs I have been using. The AKGs are actually too bass-y which distorts at high volumes. At high volumes these do tickle a little in place of punchy bass. Not as a replacement for but a side effect of the tech, which I would imagine would be unbearable if they got any louder. I accept the non-audiophile sound in trade for the comfort. The sound is still good, and when there is no sound I almost forget I have them on they are that comfortable (for me). That said my kids have smaller heads and they did not fit them near as well. As far as volume, I use these with my pc sitting 2 from a portable air conditioner no problems and at work I use them at 60% volume most of the time. I wouldnt recommend them for crowds like the subway or events, nor would I recommend in direct wind. I was afraid these were just earbuds hovered near your ear. They are much better than that!

Greater than one weekI bought these for around the house and office use but also duel well as a hands-free phone mic in the car. They are a bit lacking on the volume side which makes them less appealing for use while exercising.

> 3 dayIf you work in an environment where being able to hear is important to your safety, nothing beats the open-ear design of Aftershockz. I was skeptical at first after reading about less than stellar sound quality, but I was plesantly surprised at how great these sound. The low-end is a little lacking compared to your standard over ear headphones, but otherwise I have no complaints about sound quality. If you are in a loud environment would recommend using ear plugs because a lot of outside noise can impact the audio quality. With earplugs in they provide an experience similar to normal earbuds. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

> 3 dayAs others have said, the UI beep is so loud it makes these headphones basically unusable. When changing volume or using pause/play, the beep is jarring and almost painful. There is no solution for Android users, none of the solutions recommended in the Amazon reviews/questions worked. I got these on sale for $99 and returned them.
