This is already my second sn30pro controller and my 4th controller from the brand 8bitdo. This is a very good company with quality materials and the fact that you can use them with several platforms its just very practical

It worked well at first. But it has issues. The 8bitdo website offers a few FAQ but it it doesnt work you have to figure it out yourself. I had a problem where my computer couldnt recognize it. It was stuck with a flashing red LED on top and no amount of holding L + R + Start or Start or any combination or plugging it in could get it to register on my PC. I went to reddit and many people suggested taking out the battery and putting it back in. Unfortunately, this ended up killing the controller completely for some reason. Other people seem to have had similar issues. Anyways, proceed with caution. It sucks because it frequently has issues so its either try to fix it yourself or it doesnt work. I will not be buying another one to replace it. Updated: got it to work again. I have no idea how or why. Like I said, very temperamental controller. It is a good feeling controller, its a shame it acts up so much. At this price point, hard to fullheartedly recommend.

I had a problem with another controller and contacted them. They helped me try to fix it and then helped with the return. The new one works great and lives up to the reviews I had seen. Definitely recommend

I ordered two of them, different times. But I received both items together and on time, at first I did not receive the carrying cases, so I contact the seller. Seller did responded. If you guys did not receive the carrying case that suppose to come with it, make sure to contact them (the seller), they will replace them. Overall, I like my new controllers. I use these controllers to play Retro games on Chromecast with google tv and I have no lag or issues. I recommend these controllers over the switch Pro controllers to play on Windows, switch, and Android devices.

i like how it look and feel when you hold it. But. When you trryng to play some hardcore games like hollow knight or crash bandicoot you will notice some flaws. First of all, i updated firmware twice and it still hung randomly in Xbox mode.... tense moment? LETS HOLD BUTTON AND DO NOTHING MORE! I hope you have time to unplug typec(love it!) and plug again. will your game set the pause? Button activation slightly jaggy, sometimes i did doulbe jump without intention. i never experienced this with joycons, xbox or any other gamepads. But, you can attach it to everything (xbox, pc, phone, switch, rPi with retropie) so I appreciate it

As a person who plays on a PlayStation, this controller feels so natural, and the fact it has the back pattles, reprogrammable buttons, macros, and much more useful features for less than an official pro controller, I honestly this this a must have for any switch owner!

The SN30Pro+ D-pad is something Nintendo needs to take notes on the design. No Switch controller, provided by Nintendo, to this day, has a D-pad appropriate for 2D action or retro-gaming. Nintendo for all people should know proper D-Pad design. I own the Switch Pro Controller and the D pad is not great for platforms or retro-games (Tetris, SNES/NES classics). Otherwise, the Pro Controller is a fine controller to use on modern games. That said, this controller is the best 3rd party controller Ive purchased for Switch. Have not tried it on PC yet, but Im sure it works there too. It has home and picture buttons and all other expected features, accept amiibo support. The rumble feature works, but it doesnt seem very strong (it gets the job done). The home button on the SN30Pro+ does not turn on the Switch. Unfortunate. I hope they can add this with an update. Comfort is good but not great like the Switch Pro Controller comfort. The Switch Pro Controller is probably the most comfortable controller my hands have used. My hands get a little tired after an hour or so using the SN30Pro+. To me, the SN30Pro+ grips and angle are a little shallower/narrow and not as hand-filling as the Pro is. So, for long gaming sessions, the Pro controller wins that battle. But, the SN30Pro+ is comfortable, and hand types may vary on comfort. I hope 8bitdo will iterate this controllers design and maybe have the ergonomics improved upon. Updating the firmware is a little goofy on Windows 10. I have high resolution monitor and the application seems to get cut off. But, it gets the job done. The tuning/adjustment/button mapping software works fine. The all black design is sleek and cool, but you cant see the button labels very easily. The texture feels nice as well. So do the analog sticks. Overall, a solid controller.

It works wonderfully with the Switch, but on Android its a mixed bag. I was hoping to use this on my Galaxy Tab S7 as an all in one controller but it isnt compatible with Call Of Duty Mobile. (Meanwhile Xbox controllers are) Emulators on Android do work but COD was a deal breaker. Im going to return this but if I needed another Switch controller for any classic games or Mario Maker, this would be wonderful. (Feels like holding a PS2/PS3 controller with better joysticks)

I bought this after trying out a similar looking, cheap competitor. There is no comparison between the two. This controller feels very well built and solid, with great button feel. The downloadable software is great and allows you to fine tune the joysticks and button mapping however you like. Battery life is excellent. Ive gotten over 5 hours and still havent recharged it since new. No problems pairing to Android (Samsung and Motorola both worked fine), or two Windows 10 PCs. No lag from the Bluetooth connection at all. Just buy it!

8bitdo is by far one of the best 3rd party with a 1st party feel controllers. It works across many platforms and does the job. It has become my preferred controller.
