Made very well (especially for a third party controller), D Pad is awesome and all of the buttons can be reconfigured.

This controller is almost amazing. Add amiibo support, turning on Switch. And most importantly, BETTER RUMBLE! The rumble is just horrible on the Switch.

Definitely helped me improve my gaming performance on my Nintendo Switch. The turbo mode is nice! My one star off is regarding the looseness of the D-pad button inside the housing. It has a bit more play then what I would like. Overall a solid controller for the price, and being able to use it with other devices is a big plus!

For the Switch when playing solo I love using this controller instead of my Switch Pro controller(I never use Joy-cons while docked, except SM Odyssey) for games like Pokemon/DQ11 that are more menu based due to the position of the D-Pad. Other than that its an extremely well priced and solid controller if you need more for extra people with multiplayer games. It definitely has a very similar feel to the PS4 controller, but luckily far better battery life and USB-C vs Micro(one of my main gripes with the PS4 controller) On the PC it has been fantastic as well, Iove using it to play SNES games (That I do own) that have been modded with some difficulty, translation tweaks etc. But it works great for any game thanks to the software that comes with it that allows you remap buttons for using on the Switch and on PC separately, and many other options. Has worked well for any Stream game Ive tried. The fact that it doesnt have NFC doesnt bother me at all. The one game I might use the NFC often (BoTW) I prefer the Pro controller, but its not like you couldnt undock it, spam your amiibos, then go right back to using the SN30 Pro+. Would it be nice if I could turn on the Switch with the controller? Sure, but personally lifting a corner of the Switch out of the dock and back in really isnt too much a hassle. My only small issue is that the + and - (start and select) are a little out of the way. Side note about syncing, It is very important to follow the initial syncing instructions for the specific device you are syncing to (particularly being aware of the button combo that is different for every device type). Once I correctly synced the controller I have not had an issue with just pressing start to reconnect the controller. Note that you will have to resync to the Switch, after Syncing to your PC and vice versa(at least with Bluetooth) just like with the PS4 controller. The bottom line is that this controller is a fantastic Switch controller alone with the same build quality as an official Nintendo Pro Controller at a cheaper price. If you want something for Switch and PC, the value increases. If you want something for Switch, PC, Android, and Raspberry Pi...you get the point. I would also recommend watching the many youtube reviews that go into great detail about controller.

My husband loves this controller it is more conforable for when he is playing his switch. However the Amazon delivery service was not so great as they threw the control on my porch. I am thankful nothing is broken however still not thrilled about the handling of my package

I hate to do something like this, but I simply cant avoid it. I ~LOVE~ this controller. LOVE it. It is the single most comfortable controller I have ever used in over 30 years of gaming. Sadly, it just simply doesnt hold up. This is my second one of these controllers. Here is my review of the first. https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R2E3CMH8KPNG4R/ref=cm_cr_getr_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B07TDTXHJP Just like the first one, this one developed a nasty issue that directly affects gameplay. Where as the first one would register a button press twice, this one has a problem with the left stick. It will randomly stop reading that Im holding the stick forward, which is a major problem for a game like Destiny that is literally built around your characters mobility. Im sorry 8Bitodo, but I cant keep doing this. It doesnt matter if it is indeed the most comfortable controller Ive ever held if the things keep dying on me within months after purchase. The first one lasted about 8 months. This one barely made it 4. Hate to say it, but it looks like Im back on the hunt for a new controller that will actually last.

My sister and I bought a Nintendo Switch around 3 months ago. It’s nice to play with it, but for platforming solo games? The D-pad doesn’t help. So I decided to buy this controller to use with the Switch. And design wise, it’s the closest to use a ps4 controller, but on Switch. It’s comfortable to play titles like Megaman Zero and Hollow Knight with this controller. It really takes you back to the ps1 feel. The only thing that bothers me, is the action button rotulation, it would’ve helped if the X, Y, A, B were carved or popped out, not laminated like it is. Overall, it’s the best 3rd party controller you’ll ever get. Really recommend it. Ps. I tried connecting this product to my iPad. It says it connects to MacOS, yet I tried to connect it to IOS, it did connect, and my iPad reads the device as “DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller”. It was an awesome surprise. 8bitDo. Please, update the products’ info cause it does connect to iPad. Keep up the good work.

Phone, PC Bluetooth, Switch. All worked flawlessly. It is clever to have the startup choose the button layout. I had set my phone to xbox360, so this controller was different, but was auto-detected seamlessly. Worked with Geforce NOW and Trackmania through Epic. Worked with Emulators on phone.
