I’ve used one of these garden knives for years. It is the best tool! Very sturdy and well made. The serrated edge is great to cut roots. I’ve given several away as gifts and everyone loves it.

It’s not as traditional looking as the wood handle Japanese hori hori I previously used. But the bright orange handle should assure I don’t lose this one in the garden like the wood one. The serrated edge helps cut stubborn roots.

Strong and sharp..

Ive had this soil knife for about a year and its probably my most used gardening tool. A must have tool for any gardener. The handle is plastic but feels solid, and the serrated edge of the knife is extremely sharp and slices right through roots the size of fingers. Also cuts through actually fingers if youre not careful.

I was first introduced to this tool at my work. As a professional gardener this knife makes weeding and deadheading a dream, cuts through the ground like butter, great for edging beds, cutting through massive amounts of over grown grass away from the bed edges. I love this tool. But I did not buy this for myself. After weeks of telling my mother about this product, I got it for her for Mothers Day. As soon as the weather cleared, she was outside in her garden, having a blast just ripping through the weeds with ease. She spring cleaned her beds in record time.
