A.M. Leonard Deluxe Soil Knife, Orange – Hori Hori w/ 6-Inch Stainless Steel Blade

A family member recently introduced me to this gardening tool. I can’t believe that I ever gardened without it.

This Japanese garden knife is fantastic! I’ve had two for years, one for me and one for my husband, he lost his. We ordered another. If you want a piece of garden equipment that is a workhorse this knife is for you. Ours stays sharp and is easy to handle, cuts through the soil , bags of dirt, fertilizer or anything else, it is wonderful to get weeds dig up or to plant bulbs. I highly recommend this product for anyone that gardens.

I bought this knife on the recommendation of Joe Lampl, the founder and host of Growing a Greener World. It`s an amazing tool, planting, digging weeds, harvesting. The saw knife blade on the side comes in handy for cutting tie up strings, cutting off heads of produce. It is my most used tool now in the garden. This knife by AM Leonard, a standard in garden tools, is sturdy and can take a beating. After a year of use, it looks pretty much brand new. A must have for any serious gardener.
