A.M. Leonard Deluxe Soil Knife, Orange – Hori Hori w/ 6-Inch Stainless Steel Blade

Nice tool but I thought it was made in the USA. Turns out it’s made in Italy. But it’s surprisingly very sturdy. When I first reviewed it I only gave it 4 stars because I didn’t think the blade went all the way into the handle. But after using it I found it to be very sturdy and I used it to pull out big rocks from the ground and it worked great. This is extremely sturdy. They give you a lifetime warranty. I don’t think you will ever have to use it. Definitely one of the best Hori Horis out there.

I do a lot of yard work and DIY on my sprinkler system and this is a great tool at a very reasonable price. Wish I had been using this years ago.

This soil knife is the bomb. I garden for a living and use this tool THE MOST of all my tools(with the exveption of my Felcos;)

This is soooo sharp, which was great when sawing through roots and ivy vines, but when I stupidly went to swipe a clump of soil off the blade, I cut my finger. A true soil knife but if you have been using an old, dull tool, be careful. :)

This is the standard for garden knives, Sharp, durable, recommended and used by my landscape professional daughter. Use with care! Love the orange handle. Helps to find it is left lying somewhere.

I bought this because I have a lot of weeding to do, from simple to obnoxious vines with lots of roots. This has made the job much easier. Pulls shallow roots up with each easy, great for cutting through soil and roots. Also use it for a little digging and cutting open soil bags.
