Amazon Basics Smart Plug Power Strip, Surge Protector with 3 Individually Controlled Outlets and 2 USB Ports, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, Works with Alexa

This is the 2nd Amazon Basic product I have bought that doesnt really work. Well lets say its unreliable. First product was a light bulb. I was thinking it was too far from the router. This strip outlet is in the same room as the router as it is just as unreliable as the light bulb.

I like this power strip because each plug is addressable from Alexa. The USB ports are _not_ addressable however. Also there really aren’t enough outlets. It would be better to have 5 or 6 outlets than 3. This works like the Amazon Plug and it’s easy to setup. If I need another solution like this I’ll buy again for sure.

Bought this for holiday light usage and they have been great! Wish the cord couldve been a smidge longer as I had to use an extension cord to get the power strip to where we needed it.

Easy to set up, I scanned the back of the plug with Alexa app. Found it right away. I named each plug a separate name. My sofa and love seat always stay on since they have heat and massage. I was afraid to alway leave plugged in when at night, so I ordered 1 plug for the sofa. Loved the product so much I ordered another one for the love seat! Now I can turn each individual side on when using or off when I go to bed. Great peace of mind..

I am using this to turn on a light when I enter my studio at night. Its so much easier than fumbling around in the dark. Super easy to set up and works flawlessly. A super convenient item.

I really enjoy this smart power plug. It was very easy to set up and connect to the Alexa app and it was quite easy to rename each individual plug to the item it is connected to within the app. Obviously, since both Alexa and the Smart plug are owned by Amazon, the connection is seamless. The plug feels very sturdy and it looks like it is meant to last a while. The only issue, which does not apply to me since it is long enough for me, I can see customers having is that its not the longest power strip. So if you are hoping for the strip to span quite a distance, you will run into some issues. Otherwise, the strip is perfect in every other way.

Love the plug. No additional app needed. Controlled from Alexa. Highly recommend.

I wish it had a longer cord, but it integrates with Alexa pretty easy and it makes turning on and off my lights with voice command easy.
