Ive bought multiples of these and have recommended them to friends looking for smart outlets. I purchased another brand multi-socket smart plug a month or so ago and it was horrible to try and connect to my Echo Dots. Wanted me to download some third-party App and give it access to my Alexa...and still didnt want to connect. Ugh. I gave up and threw it away and purchased another of these Amazon Basics ones. Sooo easy to connect, and so nice to have multiple smart outlets grouped together. I now have one of these in several rooms of my house, and the Amazon Basics single outlet Smart plug in several others. Highly Recommended.

While I couldn’t get the QR code on the user’s guide for this Amazon Basics Power Strip to work, this still took only a couple of minutes to set up. The QR code on the power strip did work, which made setting this up from within the Alexa app very easy. This is really handy for a room that I have with minimal outlets. I can now run extra lights and actually see what I’m doing in there. Even nicer, I can turn them on and off with a simple spoken command. Very pleased with the design, function, and flexibility of this Amazon Basics power strip. As the parent of kiddos with autism, there are causes near and dear to my heart. We have this plugged into our wall and microwave that cant reach the outlet plugged into it. If the microwave goes on lumber that 2 mums it will pop the surge protector without fail. Every time. I like that it works but I feel like I still got a defective one with how often it pops.

Who would have imagined that Id be writing a review about a power strip but my experience with this new strip from Amazon Basics has me all excited. First and foremost, it simply does exactly what you would hope it would: provide control over three independent sockets remotely using Alexa. I plugged it in, skipped reading the instructions, and it showed up immediately on my Alexa app, as three separate plugs. I did the standard Alexa app configuration for smart home devices (really simple, really fast, basically just giving them names and assigning them to a room). Setup took less than five minutes and was simple and intuitive. The strip also includes two USB sockets which is also super-convenient. For example, a wireless charging pad can plug into one and a direct USB-Lightning connector in the other. The Amazon product team deserves a big pat on the back for creating a product that does exactly what you would want it to, and fast and easy. And the price is great, only slightly more than the single plug option. I highly recommend this product. It is exceptionally well designed.

Muy versátil y económico. En lugar de comprar tres enchufes de Alexa se compra una regleta or básicamente el mismo precio

I like it when consumer tech crap like this just works. The best part is no promotional hype telling me how my life and marriage will get better with a smart outlet.

I love the convenience however multiple times it has lost connection out of nowhere and I have to re sync it completely to get any of the plugs working

I have a number of Amazon smart plugs and they all work really well with Alexa. I wanted to put smart plugs on two lamps and a dehumidifier. I wanted to be able, in particular, to control the dehumidifier when away from home. I did not have enough outlets in that location. So this worked great - each plug functions independently of the others, but as they are in the power strip I did not have to struggle with not enough outlets.
