Built a new gaming tower with this processor and a GTX1080 and have been very very pleased with the results. I have not found much that pushes this processor into the red and for the price, well worth it.

I bought this item as a present for my brother and for an unknown reason the box came damaged witch is very unsettling because it is a very expensive item. I do not appreciate my items to be handled in this manner. i wish I could provide a picture but to describe it. I would say that one of the corners of the box is smashed in possibly damaging the product within. I will not know for sure until he opens it and attempts to use it.

Works perfect

This processor is great, but not a great value. For $25.00 more (on average) you can get the Ryzen 5 3600, a much better value, with INCREDIBLE performance (the Zen 2 architecture makes all the difference). You don’t even need an X570 motherboard, so long as you pair it with a motherboard and with MAX on the end of the title. This is a great chip, but you can’t beat the 3600 (at just $25.00 more).

It gets to 4.35Ghz on all cores without any tweaking and using the stock cooler, a monster for the price!

AMD just won over a new customer. Bye bye intel, I’ll be using the money I save with AMD to upgrade other parts from now on. This thing is simply amazing!
