> 3 dayUpgrading from Intel for the first time, AMD has no issues in my build and removed a huge cpu bottleneck.

> 3 dayAWSOME CPU but does not support integrated video (on board video) you must have a video graphics card for video to work

> 3 dayI chose this CPU for my first ever PC build. IT was well packaged and arrived on time. The Noctua NH-U12A CPU cooler keeps it nice and cool. I dont overclock, so no need for water cooling.

> 3 dayIn the installation video a claim was made stating that this product would come with a heatsink and it did not come with one. This is quite disappointing as now I have to spend more money and wait longer for delivery.

> 3 day90f temp is not normal compared to my 3800x with same cooler never texted above 79f whole benchmark.

> 3 dayAmazing CPU. Im surprised I was able to buy one. Had to fight the add to cart / buy now buttons until it got added to cart. Was likely the equivalent of virtual black Friday, and I squeezed through everyone

> 3 dayRuns quite hot but performs like a beast. Only get this cpu if you want a workstation alongside gaming. Otherwise 5600x has similar performance for gaming, streaming and content creation. You wouldnt need 8 cores for streaming.

Greater than one weekDid not want this CPU. Wanted a 5900X / 5950X. But, future reader, if you look back on the years 2020-2021, youll see that this was nearly impossible. Even these 5800s were being scalped at ugly markups for 6+ months. However, once they were regularly in stock, I grabbed one at MSRP after choosing it over the 5600X. Im not disappointed at all. Mostly wanted it for gaming @ 1440p / 4K, and it does that without issue. Very nice upgrade from my 2700X, which wasnt a bad CPU at all. All the extra cores and threads are great for my home recording studio work. Very happy with it. Not sure if the MSRP is the right price, but I think thats because Ive spent 25+ years building computers and AMD chips were always much less expensive than their Intel counterparts. However, since these outperform pretty much every Intel consumer CPU, Ill go ahead and grudgingly say AMD can price them a little higher than what weve come to expect.

> 3 dayBeast of a CPU. Perfect if you want more than 6 cores but wont use the 12 cores of the 5900X. AMD has blown me away with the 5000 series.

> 3 dayThis thing is powerful. Probably more than Ill ever need. No issues at all.. Idles around 30-40, and its not going over 70 gaming Cyberpunk thus far. AMD has verified the 5000s are fine getting much hotter than what is historically considered normal too. You can dig for that info if you are concerned about load temps.
