AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

Im so pleased with my 5800X CPU. I bought this to replace my 2700X and the difference in performance is huge. I didnt realize how badly the 2700X was bottlenecking my system, especially when it comes to games that use Direct X (Most do). This is because Direct X relies more heavily on the CPU than the GPU unlike Vulkan. Ive tried over a dozen games so far and I have improved frame rates on all, some like iRacing quite drastically which gave me an extra 100fps at the same graphics settings, no joke! Other games like Far Cry 5 Ive seen at least a 15fps improvement and the new Resident Evil 2 remake I got an extra 50fps. For reference, I have a Sapphire 5700 XT Nitro+ SE for my GPU and Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x32Gb at 3600Mhz. I plugged the new chip into my MSI X470 Gaming Pro Carbon motherboard and it works without any issues so far after a month of use. If using this board, you need to flash/upgrade to the latest bios for support so make sure you do that before upgrading to this chip. Also important, dont turn on the Game Boost feature in the bios as it will actually slow down this CPU for some reason. Ive also tried multitasking, running several apps at the same time while having my browser open to at least 50 tabs and this CPU handled it no problem and without a stutter. The only downside is its quite expensive but I would definitely buy it again if I had to decide again. If you can spare the cash then do it, you wont be disappointed.

Super produit, je suis passé d’un Ryze 5 2600 À ce produit là, je ne suis pas déçu, il est super rapide très stable et n’a aucun problème, le petit souci de ce processeur est en effet les températures il chauffe beaucoup trop mais ce problème est facilement réglable. En effet, au moment du premier démarrage sur le bureau j’étais entre 50 et 60 degrés. Ce qui était beaucoup avant j’étais à 35 45 J’ai décidé de regarder un peu sur Internet et l’on m’a conseillé d’augmenter la fréquence mets du réduire les volts. Résultat j’ai un processeur entre 38 et 45° Et pour les jeux je ne dépasse pas les 60 donc c’est top je recommande.

I have a lot of computer so I can compare. For 8 core this is way better than the 10700k from intel. This uses less power and is faster. The 5800x does run hot so I would recommend at least a 240mm aio even if you are not over clocking it.

La performance de ce processeur est bluffant. Je lutilise dans mon deuxième pc pour le streaming et franchement, je ne pensais pas quil allait traiter les images aussi bien.

Un disque dur, de la mémoire et un processeur le tout pour 572,96€ mis en vrac dans un grand carton en compagnie de boîtes de clous pour cloueur pneumatique dont certaines pèsent 3 kg.

got this new cpu for a new pc build I made, the power supply was doa but once I got the system working this cpu has been amazing, for the past week that Ive been using it. Doesnt get hot even under heavy load and I can multitask all I want with no noticeable performance drops

This worked great paired with a MSI MAG Tomahawk for about a month, then all of a sudden my computer just went straight to a black screen. Would not boot up, could occasionally get into the bios, but my motherboard would show a VGA error code. After swapping in known working gpu, ram, power supply, brand new motherboard, the only thing left that it could be is the cpu. Good luck finding one in stock to replace it. I need a working computer so everything I bought is getting sent back because I am not going to find a new one at retail price anytime soon. First time I have gone AMD in almost 20 years and it hasnt left a good impression.
