> 24 hourI literally replaced every component on my my computer thinking that the constant crashing giving me different errors every time was something else but not specific enough pointing to the CPU. After replacing everything i looked online and to my horror my NEW expensive cpu could be defective as many others have reported. I sent it back and replaced it with another new one and all is well for now

> 24 hourhad a ryzen 7 2700x it was running bad, couldnt edit 4k after applying something simple.. color correction.. it would lag the play back.. the ryzen 9 5900x is awesome handles new blue fx, smooth playback, helped with running FL Studio due to high use of vstis

> 24 hourI went from a 3400g straight to this 5900x and let me tell you I went from 49-60fps all the way up to almost 200 fps I highly recommend this CPU the only downside is that this CPU doesnt come with a cooler witch is to be expected honestly you literally do not need a 7000 series CPU until games become more demanding and that wont be for a long time I have this CPU paired with a monster ROG Strix 1080ti 11gb and it runs extremely well I wont be upgrading from this CPU for a long time unless something in the future happens to it

> 24 hourI liked how easy to install it was. Had a Lil trouble with the thermal paste getting into the pin sockets from removing my 3600x, but other than that, works great, and is even better than I wouldve thought. Never had any issues gaming, or being used for programming

> 24 hourIf youre like me you are probably debating between the 5900X and the 5950X if youre looking for a significant CPU upgrade. My previous CPU was 8-cores, so logically I thought 16-core (the 5950X) would be the obvious upgrade as its twice as much but that logic doesnt quite apply depending on what you intend to use the computer for. Instead, the 12-core 5900X is much more suited to my needs and saved me a couple hundred dollars.
