AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

Coming from 4 core ryzen 7 laptop cpu this is an immense improvement

Big upgrade from my i7-7700k. This thing is amazing and worth it. Temps are a little higher than what I expected, but from what I’ve seen that’s normal with AMDs.

Vorher Intel-Prozessor i5. Vor dem PC-Neubau habe ich mich beschlossen, auf AMD umzusteigen, da die Performance um Längen besser ist. Läuft und läuft. Für mich ist die Bildbearbeitung nun um einiges flotter geworden. Selbst das Einlesen der RAWs per Lightroom ist extrem schnell, wird sogar beim Importieren gleichzeitig 1:1 gerendert (beim Intel wird das Rendern erst nach dem Import durchgeführt und ist nicht sehr schnell).

This CPU is amazing! The power behind it has exceeded my expectations. The install was easy, flashing the bios was quick and it runs perfectly. I will say that you need to make sure you have proper cooling. This CPU runs hot underload and can take a fair amount of power. If you set up your rig right this will be a great CPU for you.

It wouldn’t over clock properly. It keeps going back to minimum core usage.

Great value for Great AMD product

Works well but is expensive. This day and age youre better off getting the 7000 series

I replaced my 3900x with this cpu and it was relatively easy to do for myself. You need to purchase a good cooler for this cpu since it does not come with one. This is a bit pricey especially when you add on the cost of a cooler.

was very excited to get this in the mail. after trying multiple test benches/configurations I just simply couldnt get it to work. the chip just came in dead. when i requested a new one they kept me on the phone for almost an hour just to tell me i couldnt get a new one and could only refund me but couldnt process the refund for WEEKS. with christmas coming around the bend this is absolutely unacceptable. ship me a dead product and darn near nothing about it. just despicable.
