ANTCLABS BLTouch : Auto Bed Leveling Sensor/to be a Premium 3D Printer (with 2M Extension Cable Set)

I have this on all my 3D printers now. It works so much better than my old inductive z probes. I will never go back. All my 1st layer problems are gone!!!

Awesome works perfect G29 #if need height is way off check steps per mm etc before G32, 31, etc. Bed crash means your off G32 M651 G31 M374 M500

It might be a bit of a process to install, but its worth the simplicity of constantly adjusting.

Pain in the butt to calibrate but once you get it, print quality is great

Many many reels of filament have gone through this printer since them as well as several hotends and a stepper motor and belts. So the BLtouch wearing out is not a surprise. I did try replacing the wiring and probe but it still failed at start each time. Resetting and retracting the probe allowed it to work . Maybe I could have kept on doing that but figured its time to retire it. One star subtracted since they show the connector at the end of the 1 meter harness is not dupont. And what came is the old style dupont,

Works great. Love it with octoprint able to get the print bed very close to perfect. Spent 2 years doing it without. Makes my life super easy

I dont normally write a negative review (Can you look at my other posts?), but this thing literally ruined 3D printing for me... for a while. My short story: I bought the Ender 3 V2, and I was having a blast with it! 220x220 was an AWESOME upgrade from my MPSM! I decided I would make things even easier on myself, and get the BLTouch! Big mistake.. HUGE. Dudes & Dudetts I havent been able to print SINCE I installed it. It literally adds so much more complication to the mix. I LOVE to tinker. I figured If I level the bed myself and get good prints, this thing should make me a rockstar! WRONG. You start having to mess with offsets and meshes and all sorts of junk that adds SOOO much more confusion to the 3D printer. Unneeded confusion. Ive tried since I purchased this thing.. and I just cant get it. Reddit posts, YT, forums. Nothing. Well, tonight I needed something printed, and Im dead in the water, so I removed the BLTouch. I leveled the bed with a piece of printer paper... and BAM! Printing like a dream again after about 4 months. I mean even if I was doing something wrong... how would I be able to be back up and running again with a firmware flash and a quick level? If you can take anything from this rant, its the very fact that something like this device should make printing easier? Right? Do yourself a favor, save yourself some time. Just level the bed with paper and keep on printing! Thanks for listening to my story, I take solace in the fact that I might save you some money.

Very happy with the BLTouch. Plugged it in and it worked as advertised. Always buy the Genuine ones like this.

Couldnt wait to buy shopped around decided to not get a knockoff or clone and get the real deal but they are shipping out new versions 3.0 and it doesnt work with current firmware. Would recommend holding off on buying until new guides on setting up come out.

Haven’t had a chance to install since this doesn’t come with all the extra kit required to plug and play with the Ender 3 Pro. However; if you want JUST the sensor and the extension cable this is exactly what you want. I do need to perform a serial # lookup and verify the validity and the version of this particular product, but from the outside everything looks correct.
