ANTCLABS BLTouch : Auto Bed Leveling Sensor/to be a Premium 3D Printer (with 2M Extension Cable Set)

Must have upgrade for any printer. I got it for my CR-10s pro. Note: you must buy longer wires for it. Not the easiest to get installed and running but 100% worth it. I love it

Cannot get it to work properly, gives me a reading to set z axis and its always too high or low. I will not buy again for my other printers due to the first one Ive bought not working.

I installed this the first time as quickly as I could, and didnt do the greatest job soldering headers to my i3 clones board. I didnt really like the instructions, so I just spliced my own connections to connectors that worked for me. I ran into a bunch of problems where it would work for one print then stop lighting up. After diligently checking my solder connections, I added a bunch of hot glue to all the connections for the sensor once they were plugged in well. Once I got it working reliably, I love it. I could manually level the corners of my bed (glass) and the center would always be too high, any print that used more than the center of the bed, some corner would always have trouble adhering and the first layer would be impossible to print. After installing the sensor, 9 times out of 10 I dont even watch the first layer go down, I click print and try to remember to check before the print is finished that it started out okay, and it always does.

Broke down within months. E-mailed vendor with description of issue and never received response.

Works great. Love it with octoprint able to get the print bed very close to perfect. Spent 2 years doing it without. Makes my life super easy

got the suggestion to buy this from someone on facebook due to a lot of reports that some fake BLTouch listings are out there and its hard to tell until you buy, when it arrived it had everything that was supposed to be there, i had printed a mount for my ender 3 v2 and hooked it up, only took a few minutes and it was ready to go, firmware was more difficult to work with as some of them are not stable apparently but it is working great now, just make sure you tighten the bolts on the mount or you can move the BLTouch when making changes to your nozzle .

Had to reverse the Z-endstop wires verses what the instructions said on the Tevo Tarantula but after that no issues. A little fiddly getting all the offsets right but you can hardly blame that on the product. Also the range is small so your bed still needs to be fairly close to level. It only loses a star for the hour I spent troubleshooting the wiring issue.

Exactly how expected will buy again Yes yes yes. If you haven’t upgraded already, then do it.

I could not get this to work on my anycubic i3 Mega Printer I tried all kinds of custom firmware, settings, double checked wiring, ect. I GIVE UP.
