Included connectors? Useless. Documentation? What documentation. What a massive waste of time and money. Going back to leveling myself this is obnoxious.

I dont normally write a negative review (Can you look at my other posts?), but this thing literally ruined 3D printing for me... for a while. My short story: I bought the Ender 3 V2, and I was having a blast with it! 220x220 was an AWESOME upgrade from my MPSM! I decided I would make things even easier on myself, and get the BLTouch! Big mistake.. HUGE. Dudes & Dudetts I havent been able to print SINCE I installed it. It literally adds so much more complication to the mix. I LOVE to tinker. I figured If I level the bed myself and get good prints, this thing should make me a rockstar! WRONG. You start having to mess with offsets and meshes and all sorts of junk that adds SOOO much more confusion to the 3D printer. Unneeded confusion. Ive tried since I purchased this thing.. and I just cant get it. Reddit posts, YT, forums. Nothing. Well, tonight I needed something printed, and Im dead in the water, so I removed the BLTouch. I leveled the bed with a piece of printer paper... and BAM! Printing like a dream again after about 4 months. I mean even if I was doing something wrong... how would I be able to be back up and running again with a firmware flash and a quick level? If you can take anything from this rant, its the very fact that something like this device should make printing easier? Right? Do yourself a favor, save yourself some time. Just level the bed with paper and keep on printing! Thanks for listening to my story, I take solace in the fact that I might save you some money.

Setup is a bit difficult. I had Jyers custom firmware and it did not like the BLTouch at all. However I wont immediately fault the BLTouch. Using the BLT version of the default firmware seems to work OK.

This is a great addition to my 3-D printer. All you need is to print a downloadable bracket for it. It works fantastic and has really saved me a lot of time in having to manually level the bed. I highly recommend it for any 3-D printer. The software to run this be I’ll touch is readily available on the web.

The most useful addition to a 3D Printer. If you are using the ender 5, a 1M extension is a must.

Main functions and controls of BLTouch are same as usual auto bed leveling sensor, consists of RC servo and micro switch. Thus, BLTouch can be applied on almost every board. BLTouch fulfilled simple structure and high precision by using progressively designed solenoid and hall sensor, and aimed user convenience and enjoyable printing by adding many smart functions, self-test, alarm, alarm release, test mode for M119. - Simple BLTouch can be easily applied, since it has a small and simple structure. - Smart [Self-test]: The push pin is operated three times to test when the power is on [Alarm]: The LED light blinks if a problem found on a self-test or on an operation - High-precision BLTouch"s Standard Deviation in repeatability is around 0.005mm, at that precise. Includes 1 Meter extension cable set. No soldering required!
