I have bought this computer on a different account. The build quality is terrible and the keyboard flexes when you type on the keyboard. The trackpad is also bad it just stops working. Also it only has 256 gigs of storage, which is not enough in 2020. Barely lasted me 5 months also the shipping got delayed 3 times. The battery life is only one hour when going on any browser (Chrome, edge,firefox, opera ect...) Thumbs down for ASUS this time.

Very nice laptop. I retired my dying 12 year old toshiba for this. It does everything wonderfully except its fan control. I understand and dont want it overheating but when chrome is running theres a high pitched ring. The kind of ringing that suggests the fans are on low with a pitch high enough to pierce your ears rather badly after 20-30min in a quiet place. Usually theres noise around so this doesnt matter too much but even putting it on myASUS silent mode(shuts off 1650 and throttles ryzen); it still sounds deafening in quiet places.

The fan is EXTREMELY loud. Im not a big gamer, I only play Skyrim. It looks amazing but after about 5-10 minutes of playing the game is so loud I need headphones to hear the game. The I have it sitting on a desk so ventilation isnt a problem. One of the reasons I bought this one was it boasted about having a quiet fan and this is pretty disappointing.

This stupid computer runs out of battery in 3 hr and I can’t launch any game I download.

I wanted an introductory gaming laptop and this works well. The fan is a little loud (but thats expected with most gaming devices). Lucky enough to get this on sale, and ive been very happy with it so far.

After a couple months of having this laptop I think it’s safe to say that it’s just what I needed. At first. I got the BSD (Blue screen of death) but since then has only occurs once or twice. Neither of which occurred while busy. They happened whilst idle and nothing. Which is odd..

En realidad no la eh probado el tiempo suficiente pero hasta ahora no eh tenido problemas con ella, es bastante buena en relación al precio, y tiene un bonito diseño además

Blatantly lies about the strength of the processor (says 3.7Ghz, it’s in reality 2.1, RIDICULOUS) can barely run standard windows (that alone takes 10% of the processor, good luck running any video game) I mean at least it’s a GTX GPU, but unless your game doesn’t require CPU strength, this computer likely isn’t for you. Certainly wasn’t for me.

Es un buen equipo pero de repente me empezó a dar problemas con un pantallazo azul, esto solo viendo videos de YouTube, la verdad batalle e investigue mucho ya que la garantía de Amazon ya había terminado, OJO PARA LOS QUE TIENEN ESTE PROBLEMA, afortunadamente la solución es actualizar la BIOS, considera que hay que buscar como hacerlo en Internet ya que el manual no dice y este proceso es muy direrente a lo acostumbrado, después hay que desistalar el driver de la placa BASE, cuidado no es tan fácil hay que desistalarlo con una herramienta de AMD y luego actualizar por el nuevo, todo esto lo pueden encontrar en la página de oficial de Asus de este equipo, solo deben saber el modelo exacto de su equipo ya que hay 3 versiones, en mi caso es el FX505DT, ya después no tendrán de nuevo el pantallazo azul, solo hay que saber investigar y tener los drivers actualizados, de nada.

Ive had this laptop for about 6 months. It can handle my games for the most part pretty well, however Ive had a few problems with it. It tends to have problems connecting to the internet where my other laptop does not. The trackpad also broke within the first few weeks of use. It runs out of battery very quickly-- I can have a full battery and spend 3 hours with only Google Chrome open and it will run out. There is very little time between the low battery warning and the computer shutting off. It also has some problems turning on sometimes.
