My son uses this laptop for online games

When I purchased this item, I thought it was a new unit; however, it arrived wrapped in a plastic bag, much like you would expect with a used or refurbished item. I thought this was new, but thats not what it looks like I got, so Im giving it one star, especially since the screen included some unexpected fingerprints.

This laptop cost is cheap compare to other laptops and thermals are actually better in these kind of laptops having GTX 1660 gives you better thermals than using RTX in slim gaming laptops.

Let me be upfront with everyone here. Ive owned this laptop for more than a year and half now, so I know what its like in the long run. Do not, under any circumstance, buy this laptop.

Quit working after 18 months. This is not a laptop that has been treated badly and nothing physically happened to it. I suspect that the Asus BIOS updated has basically bricked it. It will not make it past the bios screen, the windows recovery tools, including the reset to factory defaults, are unable to do anything. My son liked it a lot, but $700 for 18 months just isnt worth it.

play most of the games i play like wow and cs go on high settings. battery life could be better but most people are going to plugged in when gaming anyway. hard to beat for the money.

Perfect for work, I work with programs as Civil 3D with heavy files and this laptop works great.
