trackpad doesnt work most of the time

The laptop is great, especially after adding an extra 8gb of ram and a ssd for more storage. Youre able to play any of todays games without a problem, though youll only achieve 120fps to match the montiors refresh rate on older games (planetside 2, minecraft, roblox, etc.). You will still achieve nice framerate with games like Battlefield 5 as well. The main problem I have is the horrible decision to place all of the ports one one side of the laptop (picture provided for exampe). I didnt use all of the ports, but you can see it can get pretty cluttered and I dont like the power port is next to the ethernet port due to what you see in the picture I submitted. I also decided to replace the thermal paste they used on the latop to lower the temps even more. Other than that, its a great laptop and Im glad I bought it. Its a nice buy!

I should have known there was a catch for the price point and options of this laptop; if I would have known the only pro this laptop has against my FOUR YEAR OLD GAMING LAPTOP was the graphics, I wouldnt have wasted my money. The battery life is abysmal (~2 HRS). The OS makes it less ideal for control (at SOME point Ill familiarize myself w/ Linux since the obvious struggle for control over personal electronics is disgusting at this point). No CD/DVD drive (I know, should have paid more attention to the posting, but - more laptops for less $$$ still have this). The backlit colors for the keyboard arent consistent or customizable. The laptop has difficulty detecting simple audio jacks and USBs, and wont provide audio through them without SOME issue. And the storage...SSD kindly attempts to condense files, however if theres only a ~237GB capacity on the thing while SINGLE MODERN PC GAMES TAKE 50GB -100GB EACH ON AVERAGE NOWADAYS...its appropriate to assume this is just a basic laptop with nice graphic capabilities on which you must cycle mega games youd like to play if you want space to do ANYTHING ELSE on the laptop; I would not call this an official gaming laptop.

Great all around laptop, good for casual gaming and great for work.

Ive had this laptop for about 9 weeks now. It is a generally good setup for what I payed. Ive been playing things like We Happy Few, and Mount and Blade: Warband for a bit. And so far, no issues. The design and aesthetics are pretty, resolution is high end, and the Bluetooth sound system is very easy to use.

better than the nitro 5 it has a 120hz ips panel very color accurate with cool temps never raised over 65 degrees celcius while gaming would reccomend one issue i had was it locking at 30 fps on battery but low and behold it was just a setting in geforce experience called battery boost dont hesitate this is the best laptop ive ever owned.

I typically do not write bad reviews but when a new laptop fails after just under 2 years I have to inform the public. I typically get at least 3 to 4 years out if a laptop and this unit unexpectedly just stopped working in September of 2021 and was purchased in January of 2000. I cannot seem to find help or support anywhere for this laptop on the Amazon site which is even more upsetting. Stay away!

Where to begin? I was not a gamer before buying this Asus tuf laptop. I bought it for video editing YouTube videos. My old $400 laptop would not let me preview while I was in the video software, which made cutting and slicing videos together inposssable. First thing I did when I received this laptop was DL oilve the video editor iv been using and seen that this laptop had no problems preview and is extremely fast. I then made a steam account and purchase Gta v I use to play on Xbox 360. Gta v is very memory hungry at 80ish gbs. I added a 1tb HDD and another 8gbs of ram sumsang 970 I believe since I would have to open up the laptop anyway. I didnt really need the extra ram but now I can run more depending video editors. Iv since DL about 5 more games and love gaming again. On GTA v Im averaging 60-75 fps with 120hz the lowest I see is mid 40s fps while playing. Battery life isnt good but its to be expected for a high powered machine. Noise level isnt bad but you can here it when playing games, personally doesnt bother me. If you are thinking about this laptop just buy it.

Es muy buena y rápida, el inconveniente más claro que trae es el poco almacenamiento pero es fácil agregar un disco duro. Los juegos van bien, aunque creo que en los únicos donde se saca provecho los 120 hz de la pantalla es en los competitivos. La pantalla se ve muy bien y en general es muy buena computadora con buen precio
