> 3 dayThis laptop is great for gaming. It is a hefty laptop but it’s not meant for travel as much as gaming. It also has a somewhat short battery life. But it’s running some powerful games. Just plug in. It’s easy to upgrade the HD and add more DDR 4 RAM. And does not void the warranty. Mine now has an additional 480 GB SSD and 16 GB of RAM total. 16 gigs of ram in two sticks of 8 allows dual channel RAM which helps a lot. I set the default app installation folder in Windows 10 to the addl SSD drive letter and that’s where new installs go. It boots in less than 10 seconds. Seems sturdy. And the RGB keyboard is fun.

> 3 dayRandom disconnections to Wi-Fi that can only be resolved by troubleshooting or disabling the driver/restarting it. I deleted/reinstalled the driver and changed all the power saving options to not cut off the wireless capability... Still, it happens randomly. Im still testing a few things out, but if it all fails. It will remain 1 star... A solid 4.5 star machine if it didnt have this issue.

Greater than one weekIts a beautiful unit but the buttons started popping off after about a year and right after the internal wifi adapter failed. I honestly had way better expectation for this unit as I mainly use it for casual browsing. Not sure whats gonna go next...

> 3 dayHad issue with first units wifi card. Was handled quickly, no issues with second unit after replacment. Price is a bit high for what it is. Over all build quality is nice. Screen seems to be the focus as its marketed as 120hz the normal 60hz. Sad part is unless games settings are turned down you cant hit that 120 mark. Recommend getting a second stick of ram and also looking into more storage for it. If caught on deal recommend buy.

> 3 dayI’ve bought and used a lot of laptops over the last few years and this one ranks near the top. The overall performance is very good and I’m able to play some hi-end games easily. That is, as long as I don’t run it on “silent mode”. And I don’t really need to anyway because this machine is quiet compared to others I’ve used. Best to reserve silent mode to non-resource-intensive applications like word processing. The keys feel good while typing, strong and well-built without that clacky noise. I also like the extra wide spacebar.

> 3 dayIm very pleasantly surprised with this laptop given how inexpensive it is. It has been able to play any game I have at 1080p on low-medium with over 30FPS including several AAA titles with demanding graphics engines. The only real downside is that the fans are very loud when the CPU and dedicated GPU are both under load. Headphones recommended so you can hear the audio of your game clearly while you play.
