> 24 hourSo I bought this laptop for my dad to replace his old laptop that was getting slower every day. I could have just upgraded the memory and put in a SSD but the laptop was over 5 years old. I did some looking around around and this laptop seemed to be what my dad needed. Fast processor, SSD drive, backlit keyboard and lightweight. I checked around looking at reviews on various websites. The biggest knock I saw was that 4 Gbs of the memory built into the motherboard so I would only be able to upgrade one chip. It wasnt a big deal, I bought an 8 GB chip and upgraded it to 12GB. The laptop was fast, the amount of crapware was low and all was well as I transferred the data from his old laptop to his new one. Then I noticed the one flaw... It has no SD card slot. My dad has an older DSLR so he takes the SD card out of his camera and plugs it into his laptop. I do the same with my MacBook because my DSLR is also an older model without built in WiFi. My dad who had liked the laptop so far immediately complained. I had to order a USB hub (on amazon of course) to make things right. I would have gone the full 5 stars if it had had a SD card slot.

> 24 hourBought this lap top for my son on February 2021. After 7 months using it, is not working any more. Motherboard is damaged which is one of the most important parts of a lap top

> 24 hourA great bargain for a mid-level laptop. I went with the Ryzen 7 model, since my main use for this laptop is working on reports, dashboards, etc. The screen to body ratio is fantastic, along with the backlit keyboard. Tactile feel of the keys is nice, and I love the fingerprint reader. The only downside I dislike is the USB C port does not push video.

> 24 hourThis is one of the best laptops you can get for this price range, so I was disappointed when I had to return it. It has a great CPU and can handle light gaming. The one thing that is making me return this is the fan noise. It is obnoxiously loud. I thought I would get used to it, but after a couple weeks of using it, it still gets on my nerves. I understand that laptops will have some fan noise during use, but this isnt just some white noise in the background. There is a high-pitched whistling that makes it even more distracting. I would never be able to go anywhere in public with this laptop. If fan noise doesnt bother you, then this is a great laptop. Otherwise, buy something else.

> 24 hourThis laptop was bought for my sons college in August. In late September the screen went black and it could not be turned off. My son called tech support and they advised him to do something that would void the warranty. now we are stuck with a $639 paperweight. We have contacted the company and get the run around.
