> 3 dayWhen I received this laptop I discovered that it did NOT have a backlit keyboard. Also it was silver colored, not gray. I returned it but still havent gotten a refund even though the UPS says it was delivered back to them 6 days ago.

> 3 dayI havent had time to do much more than the initial setup, but so far Im very pleased. Not being a computer whiz, I can only say everything appears to work as described. The picture is vibrant. The keyboard is comfortable. Speed is very good. I am hoping this ASUS will be as good as my previous ASUS. So far I am pleased.

Greater than one weekI am incredibly incredibly frustrated and disappointed with this purchase. I bought this laptop new, because I needed a laptop with the specs for a coding class I was starting.

> 3 dayNice computer didnt start using it until January after Christmas loaded it up with Microsoft Office and within a few days the Wi-Fi slowed way down. Had an IT Pro look at it. Thought it was a bad card. Sent it back. Very good customer service but they said it was OK. Received after repair. Still no wifi connection. Cus. Serv. told me to do a factory reset. It now works fine. Microsoft update 20H2 broke it. Its so sad that excellent products like this laptop are being destroyed by Microsofts desire to own your computer.

> 3 dayThe product ASUS VivoBook 15 Thin & Light Laptop, 15.6” FHD Display, AMD Quad Core R7-3700U CPU, 8GB DDR4 RAM is performing as a above avg. entry laptop should. Fast enough for most office/home needs. Can handle photo editing ok. Ram can be expanded. Pcie drive can be expanded. Comes with no real bundleware, only McAfee which can be uninstalled. As a user and ROG member Asus has always had decent service. If new, has Asus 1yr warranty. Very good keyboard and screen. Dont expect to play major games at 120 FPM but lower level games play nicely at 60FPM. If want real gaming laptop, open the wallet and go to a higher end system.

> 3 dayFirstly, my original order had numerous internal glitches and too many issues to deal with. In the end, after restarting etc, I returned it, which Amazon kindly accepted. I took a chance that I had a dud, which does happen after all, and ordered the same laptop. This replacement has had none of the annoying errors I had to deal with on the first order.

Greater than one weekI have had this ASUS VivoBook 15 laptop (AMD Quad Core R7-3700U CPU) for about two weeks now, and I am really impressed with it. I primarily use it for programming C++ and Python, as well general internet surfing. The machine has proven to be very quick and responsive. The SSD drive allows quick startups and shutdowns. The screen is very nice, with a vivid and sharp display. I have not experienced any fan noise at all, but have not played any demanding games. I was a little apprehensive about the chiclet keyboard, but I have found it to be very pleasant and accurate to type on. My only concern is what seems to be a fairly rapid discharge of the battery. However since this is my first laptop in quite a few years I really cannot compare this units battery discharge rate with any other machines.
