Greater than one weekFor the money, this is a great option for carrying your boots and gear. its roomy enough for size 12 boots, helmet, goggles, jacket, pants, long underwear, 2 pairs of gloves and more. its ideal for day/weekend trips via the car and occassional plane trips. if youre a heavy destination traveler via plane, i might look at different options from transpack since they have wider straps and beefier handles which will withstand checked bagging better. i have both packs and prefer the athlon for local trips. it has better back padding and is more comfortable in general. Transpack is more rugged and optimum for plane travel but much more expensive.

> 3 dayWe have 4 kids who all love to ski. They each needed a bag to store their gear. I bought one of these years ago. We tried a couple other brands and sent them all back. This is the ONLY ski bag we will use. Its big!! They can hold all of their gear. I really like the inside zipper pocket for them store their food money and anything else small so it doesnt get lost. I cant say enough about the great quality of this bag.

> 3 dayFits boots, helmet and a lot of clothes. When it’s full it’s heavy and bulky. I wouldn’t want to carry it for long

> 3 dayI was super stoked when I first opened up the bag. Love the plaid print, it’s a big bag with left and right compartments for boots separate from the center compartment (which is huge). It’s big. Lots of compartments. My helmet fits in the middle with tons of space to spare for more stuff, though I left it mostly empty for this trip. Zipper pulls are nice. Zipper itself is mediocre. Disliked the metal hardware compared to the nicer ABS hardware on my eBags backpack. Big problem is the carry handle ripped off this thing the first time I used it. I have all fairly lightweight gear, Atomic Hawx boots, Oakley mod 3 helmet, Oakley goggles. A pair of DaKine spring gloves. Bag was picked up normally and carried maybe 250 feet with the handle, and it ripped loose like a tear away tag, like it was designed to. It’s a bad design. The padded grab handle on the front Is well-designed, sturdy and works well, but the top carry handle and stowable backpack strap hardware are deal-breakers. I’m going to be asking for a return on this bag.

> 3 dayI gave this to my sweetheart, who is a ski instructor, and he is SO happy with it! Its easy to get your boots in the side compartments and there is loads of room in the center section for taking extra layers of clothing for changes in weather or for when you need another set of clothes to change into after work - coat included! The whole center top zips open, so it is easy to pack too. The handles on the top and front are sturdy and a good size that you can grab easily with gloves on. The back pack straps are padded and easy to slip on when you are alone. This bag also sits upright when empty, which makes it easier to load the middle without boots than some other bags.

> 3 dayI bought a boot bags for my entire family. These are the best. They are big enough to hold everything. There are lots of pockets to help keep it organized. The boots fit in it just fine with all the gear. Its a backpack, but there are handles on top & in the center to make carrying it a breeze. A+
