> 3 dayThis bag was a Christmas gift, so I didnt take a good look at it and wrapped the Amazon box. Only this weekend I got to see it, and was disappointed to find out that it wasnt even close to the color that I ordered... The bag seems nice but it was highly disappointing.

> 3 day2022 Update: I just bought my 4th bag. The previous 3 purchases were my sons, mine and 1 for my wife. All have performed excellent. Im replacing the same bag that lasted 12 years and frankly that one is still serviceable except for a couple small holes at the seams at the bottom of the boot storage area which I could probably easily fix and Ill give it to my daughter. The new bag does have a chemical smell and Ill return the bag if it doesnt resolve in a few days. We bought this for my teenage son for carrying his ski boots, helmet, ski pants and ski clothing etc. The bag is perfectly sized for this. For anyone familiar with Transpack bags, this Athalon bag is very similar, and although slightly different shape, it seems to have the same capacity. I would say this Athalon bag is a step up in quality from Transpack and even my teenage son noticed the high quality. I would highly recommend this bag and I might even buy one for myself :) 2/5/11 EDIT: I was so pleased with the quality and capacity of my sons Athalon Everything Boot bag, I got one for myself. Without problem it holds ski boots, ski pants, long underwear, sweat pants, two shirts, sweat shirt, ski sox, a pair of shoes and my helmet. There are extra pockets to hold more. The shoulder straps are very comfortable and there is padding between your back and pack. 1/22/13 EDIT: Ive lugged this bag to and from the mountain close to 50 times and the bag is still in excellent condition. Very pleased with my purchase.

> 3 dayWe went from a double boot bag that we loved. It had boot pockets on both ends so we carried both pair of boots and a large center pocked in the middle this was a wheeled duffel and we loved it. Couldnt find anything like it anywhere (We used it for over 15 years). We found these EVERYTHING BOOT BAG/BACKPACK on Amazon an the reviews looked good so we gave it a shot. Have used them this season and really like them. We are spoiled and dont have to walk far to or from the lodge so we really didnt need the wheeled duffel any longer and it was finally worn out. These were a good choice. I carry extra gloves, socks, lighter shirt helmet and goggles and still have room for more. the boot compartments are vented so the boots dry nicely overnight without having to take them out of the bag. I would definitely recommend and buy this bag again.

> 3 dayNice bag, good price, the only small problem...you have to put your boots in first and then load the middle compartment, no big deal

> 3 dayI bought this boot pack in the fall of 2012 and after two seasons I can say that Ive really come to like using it. I used to put on the ski boots at the car and clump from the parking lot to the hill in my ski boots. But that takes its toll on the boots and the body, especially at Stevens Pass where one often has to park in a different zip code (if parking is available at all), with no shuttle buses to help. Now I keep all of my gear in one place. The backpack works terrific for hauling heavy boots in the side compartments, with goggles, gloves, hat etc. in the center compartment. Has external attach points for polls and helmet too if desired. After emptying prior to skiing, it collapses to a size I can fit in a locker when needed. Separate compartments make it easy to stash keys, pocket change purse or cell phone protector for easy access. The bag makes it easier to car pool with friends as its just your skiis, your poles, and this bag that you have to transfer between cars. Well worth it.

> 3 dayMy Ski buddies are changing to this bag after seeing mine! We like to change at the mountain base and this bag is great for that. I was very impressed with how comfortable this bag is to carry as a backpack. Fits my 10 1/2 size boots, helmet, ski pants, sweater and all the other gear I may need for the day, including lunch!. Even with all that weight, it feels like a feather on my back due to the great design. Put it on my back and walk 1/4 mile from the parking lot or condo to the slope to gear up. Not having to lug a heavy bag in one hand and my skis in the other is wonderful. The quality gives this bag 5 stars, it is VERY well made! But it also gets 5 stars for the great design ideas. The backpack straps can be stored in their own zippered section for flying or if you dont want to use them at some time.

> 3 dayI love this bag! The bag is really spacious and even when I have it packed full, the weight is distributed really well so it doesnt feel heavy at all. It has really nice cushion support on the back; its extremely comfortable to wear. I love that the boots have their own separate compartments so you dont have to worry about getting snow/dirt/wet on the other stuff in your bag. I can fit my boots, my helmet AND my daughters helmet, plus both of our mittens, goggles, hats, masks, etc. Then there is still room for a few additional pieces of clothing. The top has a zippered pocket on the outside and inside for smaller items that you want to keep handy. Plus there are little hooks throughout if you want to attached keys or something else for handy access. There are two pockets on the outside that I feel dont make a lot of sense. They are on each side of the boots. I was excited when I read about them, but when your boots are in there, its really a very tight squeeze to put anything in those side pockets. You certainly cant put anything hard (like goggles), but you could squeeze something fabric in there. (Maybe face masks or something.) But there is so much space inside the bag that I dont feel like those outside side pockets are even necessary. I have seen reviews about the top handle breaking/tearing. Ive only had mine for a week, but I will say the handle on the front (not the top) is extremely solid. So I might just avoid that top handle and use the front one for quick lifting. But mostly Ill be wearing it as a backpack anyway. This is a really great bag. Im very happy with my decision and highly recommend it!

> 3 dayUsed this bag on a recent heli trip where they limited the amount of luggage we could bring. I fit my boots, helmet and a good amount of clothes in here. You can easily get away with packing this and a ski bag for a weekend trip. Boots have a separate compartment which is ideal for the end of the day when they are wet; i believe they have grommets to let out the water but double check me on that. I found the same if not more features on this bag than the more expensive name brands if you are OK with not having brands define you. The material is very durable and well sealed. Case in point, my nasty cat peed on the bag one day along with everything else in my house and thankfully it didnt penetrate the material, I just hosed it off...bad cat, good bag.
