Love this bag. Holds my boots and plenty of other gear like thermals, goggles, gloves, etc. Between this and my ski bag I can fit everything I need for a full ski vacation and not need anything else. The bag is really sturdy and well made. Ive taken it on at least a dozen plane trips, checked it every time (you could probably carry it on though it would be a tight fit on regional planes) and have had no issues. The material is thick and sturdy. The zippers are serious. I dont see them coming undone any time soon. And there are enough pockets to keep organized. There is no padding on the sides of the bag where my boots are so I usually try to throw some thermals in there to protect them, but I am probably just being over-cautious. Ive only worn it like a backpack a couple of times, but it is easy enough to strap in and carry that way.

I have been using this for one year. It is well constructed, has ample space to fit all my gear and the price for what you get is very reasonable in my opinion.

I bought this boot pack in the fall of 2012 and after two seasons I can say that Ive really come to like using it. I used to put on the ski boots at the car and clump from the parking lot to the hill in my ski boots. But that takes its toll on the boots and the body, especially at Stevens Pass where one often has to park in a different zip code (if parking is available at all), with no shuttle buses to help. Now I keep all of my gear in one place. The backpack works terrific for hauling heavy boots in the side compartments, with goggles, gloves, hat etc. in the center compartment. Has external attach points for polls and helmet too if desired. After emptying prior to skiing, it collapses to a size I can fit in a locker when needed. Separate compartments make it easy to stash keys, pocket change purse or cell phone protector for easy access. The bag makes it easier to car pool with friends as its just your skiis, your poles, and this bag that you have to transfer between cars. Well worth it.

As someone who has always schlepped ski gear in tote bags, this bag is a dream! It is everything I wanted out of a ski bag and has a beautiful print to boot! How much gear does it hold? I wear a size 27.5 boot and they fit in the side pockets, no problem. In the main compartment, I can fit two extra pullovers, water bottle, small insulated lunch bag, a gallon ziplock of snacks (teenagers!), three pairs of gloves, helmet, goggles, and balaclavas. The small outer zip compartments are roomier than they look and hold snacks. The outer top zippered compartment holds sunglasses and my replacement goggle lenses. The bungee strap holds my bowtie ski strap once I get to the lodge. Convenient features: The handles are in perfect spots for picking up and moving the bag or hanging on the wall hooks at the lodge. There are three clips for keys that are very easy to get to inside each compartment. The plastic bottom appears very sturdy and shows no wear after three months skiing nearly every weekend. The drains have been great to provide ventilation, though I do open up the compartments when I get home to air things out thoroughly. Its always packed and ready to go which makes getting out the door each Saturday a breeze! Carrying: Even loaded with all that gear in it, it carries really well, you dont feel the weight and the padded straps are nicely curved. The back padding also helps make it comfortable to carry. Even carrying in one hand, its not cumbersome and well balanced. I would absolutely buy this again and two friends have bought one after seeing mine!

2022 Update: I just bought my 4th bag. The previous 3 purchases were my sons, mine and 1 for my wife. All have performed excellent. Im replacing the same bag that lasted 12 years and frankly that one is still serviceable except for a couple small holes at the seams at the bottom of the boot storage area which I could probably easily fix and Ill give it to my daughter. The new bag does have a chemical smell and Ill return the bag if it doesnt resolve in a few days. We bought this for my teenage son for carrying his ski boots, helmet, ski pants and ski clothing etc. The bag is perfectly sized for this. For anyone familiar with Transpack bags, this Athalon bag is very similar, and although slightly different shape, it seems to have the same capacity. I would say this Athalon bag is a step up in quality from Transpack and even my teenage son noticed the high quality. I would highly recommend this bag and I might even buy one for myself :) 2/5/11 EDIT: I was so pleased with the quality and capacity of my sons Athalon Everything Boot bag, I got one for myself. Without problem it holds ski boots, ski pants, long underwear, sweat pants, two shirts, sweat shirt, ski sox, a pair of shoes and my helmet. There are extra pockets to hold more. The shoulder straps are very comfortable and there is padding between your back and pack. 1/22/13 EDIT: Ive lugged this bag to and from the mountain close to 50 times and the bag is still in excellent condition. Very pleased with my purchase.

I purchased this after seeing it rated as a top ski boot bag in a skiing mag article. It delivers! It’s a lightweight bag (until you fill It) and the backpack straps make it so easy to carry all of your gear and still have a free hand. I stowed my boots, helmet, googles, gloves, jacket, ski pants, and an extra change of clothes, wallet, keys and I still had some room in the crevasses of this bag!!!!

I bought this bag about 2 years ago and it has been holding up great. I cant wait to use it for a third season. I love how big and roomy it is and how I can fit everything that I need in it. The boot pockets are nice since there is a port at the base where water and snow can escape and its separate from the main pocket. I havent needed to clean it out since it doesnt get as muddy as I thought it would. I loved mine so much and I got a ton of compliments, so I bought one for a friend and she loves it. I recommend this bag to any skier who wants to have all their equipment in one place and looking for something durable.

Athalon Everything Boot pack. The most comfortable, organized boot bag made today. Separate side entry boot sections. Reinforced hidden back pack straps. Expanding section for helmet. Waterproof bottom. Top and front carry handles. Front MP3 pocket w/ earphone outlet.  The most comfortable, organized, and useful boot bag on the market, the Athalon Everything boot pack offers space for just about all your ski gear save your skis themselves. The bag--which includes four padded lumbar back pads for comfort and support--is outfitted with a large main compartment with separate side-entry zippered boot sections, making it easy to slip your boots inside after a long day on the slopes. You also have plenty of room for other items thanks to the large expandable pocket, which can hold a ski helmet or jacket, and the bungee cords on the front for maps, goggles, and other accessories. Perhaps the most convenient feature for frequent skiers, however, is the pair of hidden, reinforced backpack straps, which make it easy to carry the boot pack to and from the parking lot. Other features include a waterproof tarp along the bottom to keep the bag and its contents from getting wet; a vented boot section with bottom drainage grommets; clips in each pocket for gloves, keys, and other small items; a front MP3 player pocket with an exterior earphone port; top and front carrying handles; matte chrome hardware; and a contoured shape that fits your boots perfectly. Lined with reflective piping to improve visibility on poorly lit days, the boot pack carries Athalon"s five-year warranty.
