My Ski buddies are changing to this bag after seeing mine! We like to change at the mountain base and this bag is great for that. I was very impressed with how comfortable this bag is to carry as a backpack. Fits my 10 1/2 size boots, helmet, ski pants, sweater and all the other gear I may need for the day, including lunch!. Even with all that weight, it feels like a feather on my back due to the great design. Put it on my back and walk 1/4 mile from the parking lot or condo to the slope to gear up. Not having to lug a heavy bag in one hand and my skis in the other is wonderful. The quality gives this bag 5 stars, it is VERY well made! But it also gets 5 stars for the great design ideas. The backpack straps can be stored in their own zippered section for flying or if you dont want to use them at some time.

LOVE this bag! Talk about holding everything but the kitchen sink!! This boot bag holds both ski boots, helmet, goggles, 2 pairs of gloves, ski pants, 2 ski jackets, socks, face mask, and MUCH MORE. I wear a 25.5 boot and there is plenty of room to put more stuff in the boot compartments. There are drainage holes for the boots and the boots are separated from the middle compartment so all your other items stay dry. I bought 2, one for me and one for my husband, so we can carry our gear on our flight. As some people mentioned it did arrive with a strong smell from being in plastic, but I let it air out a day and it was fine. I LOVE the 2 hardy straps to carry as a backpack and it has a comfy rubber handle you can carry it with too. I highly recommend this bag!! If you way over stuff it I dont know if it will fit in overhead compartment on a plane. I will let you know. Im going to over stuff mine and put very little in my husbands just in case. Check out my photos, everything you see is in the bag zipped up and there is still room for MORE!

We have 4 kids who all love to ski. They each needed a bag to store their gear. I bought one of these years ago. We tried a couple other brands and sent them all back. This is the ONLY ski bag we will use. Its big!! They can hold all of their gear. I really like the inside zipper pocket for them store their food money and anything else small so it doesnt get lost. I cant say enough about the great quality of this bag.

Purchased this for flying and hauling from car to lodge and back. First true test of the bag was just a day of skiing, and boots, helmet, gloves, lunch and a water bottle fit with ease. Plenty of space left over! Second test was a flight from NY to Jackson Hole, WY, where this bad boy flew as checked baggage - and I was able to fit not only my downhill boots, the afore mentioned gloves, helmet and goggles, but also found space for my XC boots and a couple other odds and ends. Cool feature: Back Pack straps are designed to unclip from bottom loops and tuck into their own zippered pocket. Once tucked and zipped, they are safe from getting snagged and damaged by airport baggage handling machinery. Once we arrived and were traveling to and from the hill every day, I was able to carry boots, two helmets, gloves, a couple of extra clothing layers plus lunch, etc., with no problem and all zippers closed with ease. This is one spacious bag! Its well-designed and very solidly built with quality zips and good padding, which makes it quite comfortable to carry on ones back. It is not designed to fit in an airline overhead compartment. It is designed to carry a whole lot of stuff and, apparently, to take a beating. Im quite pleased. Only wish Id purchased it sooner!

2022 Update: I just bought my 4th bag. The previous 3 purchases were my sons, mine and 1 for my wife. All have performed excellent. Im replacing the same bag that lasted 12 years and frankly that one is still serviceable except for a couple small holes at the seams at the bottom of the boot storage area which I could probably easily fix and Ill give it to my daughter. The new bag does have a chemical smell and Ill return the bag if it doesnt resolve in a few days. We bought this for my teenage son for carrying his ski boots, helmet, ski pants and ski clothing etc. The bag is perfectly sized for this. For anyone familiar with Transpack bags, this Athalon bag is very similar, and although slightly different shape, it seems to have the same capacity. I would say this Athalon bag is a step up in quality from Transpack and even my teenage son noticed the high quality. I would highly recommend this bag and I might even buy one for myself :) 2/5/11 EDIT: I was so pleased with the quality and capacity of my sons Athalon Everything Boot bag, I got one for myself. Without problem it holds ski boots, ski pants, long underwear, sweat pants, two shirts, sweat shirt, ski sox, a pair of shoes and my helmet. There are extra pockets to hold more. The shoulder straps are very comfortable and there is padding between your back and pack. 1/22/13 EDIT: Ive lugged this bag to and from the mountain close to 50 times and the bag is still in excellent condition. Very pleased with my purchase.

The boot bag is made with heavy duty material and zippers. Boots go in the side pockets and are vented to help with moisture. Outer gear such as helmet, shin guards, goggles, ski pants, gloves, etc. all fit in the large center compartment. There is also a center pocket on top for smaller items such as cell phones, keys, etc. There is also a small zipper compartment on the outside of each boot compartment. The backpack straps can be tucked away into a zipper compartment on the back for airline travel. I also purchased the Marker Everything Boot Bag for my son. It turns out that the Marker bag is actually made by Athalon so these bags are very similar in features and construction (nearly identical). He is on a ski team so the bag gets used 4-5 days a week. The bag is holding up well.

I bought this boot pack in the fall of 2012 and after two seasons I can say that Ive really come to like using it. I used to put on the ski boots at the car and clump from the parking lot to the hill in my ski boots. But that takes its toll on the boots and the body, especially at Stevens Pass where one often has to park in a different zip code (if parking is available at all), with no shuttle buses to help. Now I keep all of my gear in one place. The backpack works terrific for hauling heavy boots in the side compartments, with goggles, gloves, hat etc. in the center compartment. Has external attach points for polls and helmet too if desired. After emptying prior to skiing, it collapses to a size I can fit in a locker when needed. Separate compartments make it easy to stash keys, pocket change purse or cell phone protector for easy access. The bag makes it easier to car pool with friends as its just your skiis, your poles, and this bag that you have to transfer between cars. Well worth it.

It arrived on time an it’s just like it looks in the picture. I bought this for my tween daughter to use when she goes skiing. It is great quality. It’s large, especially for her age, and I bought a adult size bag so she could use it when she was older. It has so much room, enough to fit her junior size ski boots, size small helmet, and still have a lot of room left over. There are several small pockets to organize stuff, which I really appreciate. She loves this bag and is so excited to use it for this ski season and many ski seasons to come. Overall amazing purchase, would buy again for my older daughter.

We love this boot bag. We bought 3 of them. It is large enough to hold your boots and helmet. We also were able to put clothes etc in there as well. I highly recommend it for the money. It’s a sturdy bag.

I love this boot bag. First it has a ton of room and can fit two pairs of adult men’s ski boots. Second, it is perfectly ergonomically designed. Even when it’s stuffed it is super comfortable due to the padding on the back and well designed shoulder straps. Makes it easy to carry your stuff to the lodge. Third, great design. It has the perfect number, location, and design of pockets. It also has a spot where you can put the shoulder straps in when you put the bag on the plane. Lots of color options- my pro tip is to get some unusual colors so it is easy to pick your bag out on at baggage claim or at a resort boot bag room. Also very durable, great zippers and size, and overall simple clean look. If you are going to fly to ski, treat yourself to a good bag.

Athalon Everything Boot pack. The most comfortable, organized boot bag made today. Separate side entry boot sections. Reinforced hidden back pack straps. Expanding section for helmet. Waterproof bottom. Top and front carry handles. Front MP3 pocket w/ earphone outlet.  The most comfortable, organized, and useful boot bag on the market, the Athalon Everything boot pack offers space for just about all your ski gear save your skis themselves. The bag--which includes four padded lumbar back pads for comfort and support--is outfitted with a large main compartment with separate side-entry zippered boot sections, making it easy to slip your boots inside after a long day on the slopes. You also have plenty of room for other items thanks to the large expandable pocket, which can hold a ski helmet or jacket, and the bungee cords on the front for maps, goggles, and other accessories. Perhaps the most convenient feature for frequent skiers, however, is the pair of hidden, reinforced backpack straps, which make it easy to carry the boot pack to and from the parking lot. Other features include a waterproof tarp along the bottom to keep the bag and its contents from getting wet; a vented boot section with bottom drainage grommets; clips in each pocket for gloves, keys, and other small items; a front MP3 player pocket with an exterior earphone port; top and front carrying handles; matte chrome hardware; and a contoured shape that fits your boots perfectly. Lined with reflective piping to improve visibility on poorly lit days, the boot pack carries Athalon"s five-year warranty.
