Theyre good, the only reason I gave them 4 stars is because after a couple years, they deteriorate on the inside, so when the outside wears down to the point of replacement, you spend a lot of time cleaning out the driver grilles. Im on my 3rd set in 8 years, so thats not too bad.

I wish I know earlier that I can buy the placement. My headphone looks brand new again!

It must be possible but I gave up trying to put them on. If youve ever put a steering wheel cover on - its like that only worse. but they feel like they would be comfortable if you can get them on.

I have had my Audio-Technica ATH-M50 Professional Studio Monitor Headphones with Coiled Cable for about 2 years, using them at work every single day. They just recently started to get less comfortable due to the ear pads compressing and making a smaller space for my ears. With the older ones the ear pad material is much stiffer that having been said, they were still comfortable to wear for 6-8 hours a day.
