Greater than one weekThe ear pads deteriorated much fast than the rest of the headphones, maybe due to temperature changes from being in my backpack. Got these and they feel good as new.

> 3 dayBought for M50X as old ones were worn out and flaking. Look to be the same quality as originals and the headphones look and feel good as new

> 3 dayI noticed my beloved ATH-M50 headphones were showing cracks on the ear pads. I looked at a few options before settling on this product. These are actual Audio-Technica ear pads. Some sellers are selling duplicate ear pads. I wasnt sure how a different ear pad would affect the sound, so I was happy to find the real deal. Pads are installed, and feel great.

> 3 dayThey look good and feel good. They exceeded my expectations in these areas. But they changed the sound a little too much, which is very disappointing for me. I need to stress that I used them on the ATH-M50, not the x version. So my headphones are from around 2012. Replacing the pads with these (I have black headphones and got the white pads - they look cool as hell) caused a bump just above 100hz and a little scoop around 500hz. For me, it turned the headphones into average hyped sounding cans. Theyre still faithful in the high mid-high region, but the bump in low-mid gives them a fake bass sort of sound. Its really a difference of 3db or less, but still not what it used to be. I knew the sound of the headphones very well before and now I cant trust them the same.
