Audio-Technica HP-EP Replacement Earpads for M-Series Headphones,Black

Great product! Was kinda difficult to out onto my ATH-M50 headphones, but with a little handwork, (Im no stranger to handwork) they fit great. Sounds good and are very comfortable.

A mi entender no debería haber ninguna diferencia entre este par y los originales que venían con los M50X. El empaquetado hacía prever que eran repuestos originales, y no me equivoqué. Me demoré 3 minutos en instalar ambas almohadillas, sin ningún tipo de problema. Como mis audífonos son blancos, me gustó el contraste logrado!

Easy to install. I get about 1 year of wear out of these DJing 40 times a year.

These are original M50X cushions and I think that is all you need to know.

The sound, as the manufacturer intended it to be heard. I used some other, plush , goatskin, ear pads, where comfortable but the sound signature was changed drastically.. back to the original for me.

These are as comfortable and durable as the pads that came on my ATH-M50s. Will update if there is a change noticed in the future.

The original cheesy coated foam pads deteriorated on my ATH-M45 set, leaving black flecks on my ears. I didnt notice until my wife pointed it out one day, what the heck is that stuff? Anyway, these replacements eliminate that problem with good quality, comfortable vinyl cushions which block quite a bit of room noise, fit snug and are well made. That said...

Good factory replacement, especially if you want to refresh your pads but dont want to change the sound profile of the headphones. Unfortunately one of mine came with a small tear, otherwise theyre fine. Not worth taking the time to ship back and wait for a new set, but its definitely disappointing, especially at this price point.
