Audio-Technica HP-EP Replacement Earpads for M-Series Headphones,Black

Absolutely amazing purchase. Ive had the ATH-M50s for 2 years and the earpads have gotten so stiff and uncomfortable to wear. I bought these along with the BrainWavz HM5 earpads and these were clearly the winners because of the ways my M50s sounded with these. These earpads were made for the M50s and vice-versa. Its been so long that Ive used my older, stiffer earpads and I had actually forgotten how soft these pads were. If you have the M50s and need new earpads, get these. Do not waste your time and money with other earpads; theyll change the way the headphones sound and also may be too cumbersome depending on size. These are the best ones.

After 3 years of shedding, I decided to replace the pads. Took about 5 minutes to put them on, highly recommend wicked cushions video if youre looking for an easy guide. Super comfortable and sounds so much better.

I tried a third-party pair of pads that was really bad (they became stiff over time and ruined the sound quality from the headphones) just to save some money. These new pads has brought back the original sound quality that I loved and missed dearly!

To-the-T kind of replacement. I needed. Perfect replacement. Thanks guys!

A mi entender no debería haber ninguna diferencia entre este par y los originales que venían con los M50X. El empaquetado hacía prever que eran repuestos originales, y no me equivoqué. Me demoré 3 minutos en instalar ambas almohadillas, sin ningún tipo de problema. Como mis audífonos son blancos, me gustó el contraste logrado!

They are exactly like the ones that come with the original set if you choose to go with different pads that have more cushion the bass will suffer be aware of that.

These are perfect replacements for my beloved ath-m50x headphones - the only trouble I had was with figuring out how to remove the old ones. Thankfully, Youtube and a little trial and error helped facilitate the replacement.

I purchased the Audio-ATH-M50x Studio Headphones in 2014 for $169.00. Im glad to see the price has come down to $149.00. I think $149 is more in line with the sound quality and over all experience you get with these headphones. They are definitely not high end quality headphones but for the price they get the job done for casual music & tv listening experience. If your intent is to analyze every high and low note, drum beat, and cymbal crash, I would recommend you search for a more professional type series of headphones$$$.

My cushions had started to shred because I used them so much. I replaced them with these and theyve lasted another 3 years!!!
