> 3 dayInsanely comfy, sound stage stays the same, and you dont look like Queen Amidala (...Natalie Portman tho).

> 3 dayI went with a generic replacement, a velour one from Brainwave for comfort, and lost all bass. I returned them and went with these OEM replacements and what a difference. All of the bass is back, and arguably better than before with my prior OEM pads that started to disintegrate after 5yrs. Just wish they were velour fabric vs the pleather but I suppose the pleather helps with the sound sealing.

> 3 dayMy original M50x pads wore out quite some time ago. Last year, I purchased 3rd party replacements that are very comfortable and of high quality materials. However, those pads really did a number on the sound quality. The first reason is that those pads are much deeper which puts way more distance between your ear and the speaker. The other reason, I surmise, is that the material that sits across the speaker face is different. The end result was a severe loss in bass and an overall loss in clarity.

> 3 dayNo hay mucho que decir, son las almohadillas originales de Audio Technica, en mi caso para los M40X. Mejor opción para reemplazar un par que ya se han gastado por el uso, no veo

> 3 dayThese are good. Just like the originals as far as I can tell. They are difficult to install but not nearly as difficult as other reviews make it seem.

Greater than one weekExtremely soft leather and foam. Don’t even think about the purchase. If your ears hurt, these are a necessity.

Greater than one weekThey perform exactly like the original earpads. A bit of a struggle to attach, but doable with a little patience.

Greater than one weekThese are the real deal, right from the manufacturer. I think for most people you would only need to replace these maybe once in the entire lifetime of your headphones. I personally am a janitor at a school and I wear my ATH M50x headphones close to 6 or more hours every single day. I love them more than anything in my life. After wearing them so much while working the pads had gotten very squished, making the driver push into my ears uncomfortably and being soiled by hours of continuous sweat. Luckily they sell these replacement pads and they were worth every penny. I say these are the only replacement pads you should get because the sound signature remains as it was intended, and buying 3rd party earpads can sacrifice some noise isolation and sound stage. They were a bit tricky to put on but worth the effort.
