> 3 dayGood quality. The colour is not as bright as in the picture, it is actually darker and duller, but is still a nice design and offers good sun protection.

> 3 dayThis is a sturdy umbrella and not that heavy but certainly not UV protected. It has a very light silver coating but the its totally see through so I cant imagine how I would be protected. Disappointed!

> 3 dayIts hard to be concise here because I love this parasol/umbrella so much! Im very sun sensitive and this is like taking tree shade along with me as I walk! Its just marvelous! Ive been liberated to let the dog decide when he wants to finish the walk rather than me getting too much sun and forcing him to turn back! The umbrella is extremely well constructed and very sturdy. Nothing gets through this, unlike most umbrellas these days, and it stands up to wind. If you need something for yourself, or to keep UV rays off your children or strollers... THIS IS THE ONE! Besides, with the Van Gogh design, its also very stylish!

> 3 dayI get complements on my beautiful sun umbrella, and it shades wonderfully. Its compact and packs easily. After a few weeks of usage, its gotten stubborn about closing back up, which makes me nervous about its longevity. The sleeve is the tightest of any umbrella Ive ever owned, which is not a deal-breaker, just odd and a bit of a nuisance. Otherwise, excellent item.

> 3 dayI love Van Gogh! His use of blues is one of my favorite things about his work. Anyway, I opened and shut the umbrella several times and the mechanism is working properly. Inside it has a silver ling, what I assume to be the sunscreen portion of the umbrella, which I have yet to practice and is the reason I bought the umbrella. When on-ground school starts, every teacher has to take a recess/pickup/drop-off duty, so we are awaiting the Governors decisions. In the past, I used my regular umbrella, and it wasnt effective. Was going to buy a cloth parasol, but couldnt be assured of the SPF. After I use it on the playground a couple of times, Ill let you know!

> 3 dayWe bought one a year ago. Totally works to reduce heat from the sun. Used it in the Caribbean, Bahamas, and in the Everglades. Definitely noticed huge difference when under the umbrella versus standing directly in the sun. Decided to buy another, but wanted a different color or print. I ordered and returned two other umbrellas and bought a second of this one. This umbrella set the mark, and the others were significantly lower quality, even with their good reviews. What works: Color is good. Print is pleasing. Material is very sturdy and has no bad odor (the other two had strange and stinky fabric). Handle is comfortable enough, though it would be nice to have it a little longer. Opens very easily with one button push. Closes fairly easy with a button push and then collapsing the shaft manually. Definitely superior to the others we tried. Wish it came from this company in other colors or prints. Overall excellent value for the low price.

> 3 dayI purchased this because the walking and waiting at bus stops during my commute had become unbearable and I had taken to using a regular umbrella which did help moderately but not nearly enough. I really have no complaints here - its a beautiful item and it holds up very well in the rain and wind, and while it wont make you feel like youre inside if its a really hot day, it does block the sun very effectively and its gotten rid of the farmers tan on my arms, haha. I also like the button that makes it very easy to collapse the canvas, though I agree with another review that said it takes a bit of strength to collapse the pole. Its fine for me, but it may not be for everyone. I also havent had any issue with accidentally closing the umbrella due to the button on the handle, but I could see how it would be a problem for someone holding on too tight in the wind (when its windy I actually grab the pole itself, so that may be the difference). I think my only suggestion for improvement would be to make the handle a bit easier to grip - because I bought this for its UV-protection properties, Im often using it when its hot outside, and when my hands get sweaty it really starts to slip. I sometimes wrap a washcloth around the handle to make it easier to hold! Overall Im extremely happy with my purchase and I consider the price to be a bargain!

Greater than one weekThe handle is just too short. Also, there was no UV info that came with the product, which was the reason I purchased it in the first place. I need UV protection for medical reasons, and the lack of information wasnt reassuring.
