> 24 hourNo clear instructions. They need to include a bin file for it. The main trouble was the touchscreen would not recognize the printer No printer attached no matter what adjustments I made in Marlin or its own setting for baud rate. I returned it.

> 24 hourI ordered this because I wanted to be able to navigate my printer menus quicker, and easier, with color. In achieved those needs. However I began noticing little design features that I didn’t care for. Somethings seemed a bit loose. Other things didn’t seem refined or quite finished. I had multiple issues with this touchscreen in combination with other things I had set up on my printer such as Octoprint print server, time remaining on prints, etc.. I also had multiple issues where the printer wouldn’t connect or wouldn’t function at certain points. Sometimes it would get stuck and wouldn’t flip back to touch mode. It’s just not a great product. I ended up uninstalling and going back to stock after a couple of months of forced use.

> 24 hourDoes my 3d printer NEED a larger screen than my phone? No. But I am a man. And as such, I have big Man Hands. When I tryed to get all handsy with the little 2.4 it was a less then fullfilling experience. This 5 however, works great. I can easily manipulate all the buttons, and it works in both touch screen and Marlin mode, so thats nice. Would have gone woth the 7 model, but I felt intimidated.

> 24 hourI’ve put these screens in 10 Creality based CR-10 machines. I am not yet personally a fan of touch screens yet. My roots are based on Marlin traditional UI. I’ll spend some more time and customize the touchscreen UI to my liking as time allows. For the price it’s worth it if you need a replacement stock screen. The knob feel is great. The screen is much more vivid. Can be used directly with your stock CR-10 control board in ‘emulated’ mode which does not use touch control. The screens other mode is ‘touch screen’, which requires a board with a serial connection to screen. Basically it’s a nice upgrade to standard screen, or added touch screen capability. You can customize the display colors (background and foreground) with fixed basic colors. I really like the green on black, and Aqua on black. Even without using as touch screen, it’s work the ‘upgrade’ IMHO. Nicer quality than stock. I hope I have more time to get into customizing the touch side of things. I use this with stock and custom boards, including the SKR boards. As far as fitment, only one was slightly off. I aim for level, and any left to right, doesn’t matter, as it changes with viewing angle. But fit ease of installation I do use sanding sticks and open up the holes a little. This cab also add a bit if adjustability for centering in opening. I love using the screen. Night and day difference in contrast and viewing angle.

Definitely will not be recommending these products ever agian. Would give it a ZERO star rating if I could.

> 24 hourIf youre not a whiz at marlin firmware find someone who is otherwise updating is nearly impossible. Once you get it working its fine.

> 24 hourPretty much plug and play, just grab your firmware from the github repository. I will be a loyal BTT product consumer.

> 24 hourThis screen makes functions of the machine so much easier to access/use. The touch screen is very responsive for a resistive touch screen. 10/10!

> 24 hourThis is a direct replacement for the stock Creality Ender 3 screen. It was a breeze to install. It fit perfectly in the original Creality face plate with no modifications. The screws lined up perfectly for mounting. I printed a custom rear cover to protect the PCB and electronics on the back of screen. One thing I did choose to do was update the firmware on it and add the The Round Miracle Theme both of which can be found on the BIGTREETECH GitHub page.
