Bissell CleanView Swivel Rewind Pet Reach Vacuum Cleaner, with Quick Release Wand, Swivel Steering and Automatic Cord Rewind, 3197A, Black

I have a high pile and kind of dense carpet. The stick vacuum I had just wasnt cutting it anymore on my carpets. It would take me a good 25-30 minutes to vacuum with that thing so I began to research a new vacuum. I knew Bissell was on my list since I have a carpet cleaner by them and it always left hairballs that my previous vacuum left behind. I narrowed it down to a few but ultimately chose this one, especially for the automatic cord winder. Ordered, came, and put together. It was super easy to put together. When I first gave it a go I noticed it was really hard to push. I read the instructions (I was too excited to try the vacuum when I opened it) and realized I needed to adjust the dial. Once I did it was much easier to push. I ended up vacuuming the carpets TWICE because of everything it picked up. I couldnt believe everything my previous vacuum left behind! My four carpets now only take 20 minutes total to vacuum and I do it a few times a week to keep the dust and hair down. The filters work great and I really like that replacements are easy to find and the reusable ones are easy to rinse off and clean. It does say to let them sit 24 full hours after rinsing, which is no problem for me. It comes with two attachments which I find useful as well - a crevice/brush attachment (its a two in one), and a pet hair eraser or something. I use that one on my couch, the beds, and any a few different chairs. The cord rewind function is easy to use as well. I also really like that the power, recline, and cord rewind are all accessible with my foot. No more bending over to turn my vacuum on! I can also remove the canister for easy emptying with the cord wound up. The wand is really easy to pull out to use for anything you use the wand and attachments for. I cant actually reach my ceiling with it, but thats because my house has higher than normal ceilings. Id have to prop it (and me) up on something to reach. Ive had it for a few months and I love it. Well see how long it lasts!

Ok, my old Bissell was dying. I used it this weekend and then ordered the Bissell Clean view swivel rewind. It arrived today and I just used it. First of all, its quieter than my past vacuums. Next....WOW ..ook at the picture! It picked up so much more that was left behind. We gave one LARGE cat and he sheds. This will be a great tool for keeping the hair transfer down. I used the wand and roller on my furniture and it did great there too. Hopefully, it continues to do a wonderful job.

German Shepard sheds a ton. It fills the canister. I hope he is just shedding winter coat. It fills the canister with hair. I could not keep up with sweeping. I really like this vacuum. I have been using over a month 2-6 times daily. I bought another brush that helped a little. I can not think of anything. Exactly what I needed. Hardwood floor. Nice to use something for work I enjoy!

Works great but have used it 7 times and it smells like its burning up. I changed the filter to a scented one and it still has an electrical fire smell.

My old vacuum died two weeks before I received this one... I have an Akita that sheds nonstop. I had to empty the dispenser twice while making it from one side of my living room to the other. And even though I went over it again I didnt need to. My last vacuum I had, took me 3 runs over the whole living room before everything was picked up, and doing it 2 to 3 times a week. Used the wond to get around dog crate, couch and furniture. It worked just as it should. I cleaned the tops of the couch where the cat loves to lay and it worked nicely. It takes some time to get it all up going in different directions with the turbo eraser but It worked well. Overall I am very happy with this vacuum.

We have 2 dogs and a baby and the amount of fur and dirt that comes through is mind boggling! This vacuum picked up so much dirt and pet hair on the first pass through I couldn’t believe my son was crawling around in it!!! I ended up emptying the canister 5 times in one vacuum session! Now we vacuum every 2 days and it still picks up so much. This was a great buy because now I know my son isn’t crawling around in all that dirt and pet hair.

This vacuum cleans very well. The suction is good, and it is easy to maneuver. I like the part that you can take off the handel, and use the hose on higher places.

This is honestly the best vacuum I have ever owned! I am the mother of three adult children and grandmother to twelve grandchildren so you know this vacuum cleaner definitely gets a work out!

Since I started using this three weeks ago, I can not believe how much this vacuum picks up. I thought my old vacuum picked up great, but this one? Wow! We moved to the country, and I knew country life was much more dusty than city life. I just wasnt feeling like my old vacuum was picking up the amount of dust it should. We also have a shepperd pup, and I was still seeing a lot of hair on the carpet after vacuuming. Since I have gotten this vacuum, I have seen the results that should come from a vacuum. Im sure over time I will have to get a new one, but my old vacuum was only 3 years old. Its definitely a great buy, and we are completely satisfied!!!!
