Bissell CleanView Swivel Rewind Pet Reach Vacuum Cleaner, with Quick Release Wand, Swivel Steering and Automatic Cord Rewind, 3197A, Black

I usually dont take the time to write product reviews, but I wanted to make an exception for this item. Note that this review is not for this particular purchase...Ive only had this vacuum for a couple of weeks. However, this is the 3rd identical (or nearly identical) Bissel vacuum that I have purchased. I didnt buy 3 vacuum cleaners because these keep breaking; I bought them so that I could have one in each major area of the house in which they have to be used - as replacements for another brand that didnt perform well. So without going into the lengthy details of my history with these vacuums, let me just say that I own two, large indoor dogs - one of which is a 90# German Shepherd. I love that dog dearly - but she makes me pay for it by way of her shedding. I have been very happy with the performance of the Bissel vacuums in handling the dog hair - and were probably vacuuming a 1500 ft2 main floor area twice a week (in addition to other areas that are touched less frequently). I especially like the features of this vacuum that make it easy to break down/disassemble if you do get a blockage in the hose. Having said that, you shouldnt expect to get a blockage doing normal interior vacuuming...Ive not had that experience. But there are times when I even use this vacuum on outside surfaces - and I do occasionally get a blockage when Im picking up leaves or other debris in the garage. In addition, the vacuum seems to be built sturdy enough that I can readily pick it up and move it around using the canister handle - which is very handy in some of ways that Im using it.

Bought this in January to replace a similar unit and it worked great for the first six months then it started making a terrible roaring sound and wasnt cleaning like it should. After inspecting it, I found that the plastic bracket that holds the roller brush had broken and the whole thing was out of balance and vibrating like mad. The return window here at Amazon was long closed so on a lark I checked with Bissell to see if I could simply purchase the broken part and repair the unit. To my dismay, there were plenty of replacement parts available save for the one that I needed! So, after a little more exploration on the Bissell website, I found the warranty section, so I started browsing it and soon initiated a live chat with customer service. I explained the problem, they asked for a couple of photos and the serial number off my broken vac and asked me to standby for a few moments while they checked the warranty status. In about a minute or two, the tech came back on and got my address and other info, stated they were sending a return label and that as soon as they received the old unit a replacement would be sent out. Fast forward a few days, the new unit arrived as promised and is working great! As for the vacuum itself, it works great, sucks up a ton of cat and dog hair and is easy to maneuver. Overall, I would have liked it better if it didnt break at the six-month mark, however, the prompt, almost no questions asked customer service made up for it and earned the product a 5-star rating from me. It maneuvers so easily and smoothly. I also love that the the hose is always attached and it’s so easy to pop out the handle and attach one of the tools. My favorite part? The little Pet Turbo Eraser attachment!!!! That little guy makes vacuuming the dog beds a breeze!!! Not to mention all of the other places you can use it. The suction is incredible! Highly recommend!

This vacuum cleaner puts my Dyson to shame! It’s light, quiet and powerful. The first time I vacuumed with it I was amazed at what was in the canister even though I had just vacuumed with my Dyson. I’m going to order another one for my upstairs and the Dyson is going to the Goodwill!

This vacuum has a great suction power. Its best feature us the retractable cord. It does have to be cleaned often. I am confident I get a good and hygienic clean every time. I would use again and again.

My mom uses this weekly! I also use it and it’s an awesome vacuum. 100% recommend this for the pet owners. I have a golden retriever and it gets up all of her hair!

This product was easy to put together. It also was light and maneuverable. The sounds and colors are easy to change and overall this product is amazing.

I am so glad I purchased this vac. I didnt realize what a poor job my older vac was until I used this one! Easy to use.

The swivel makes it so much easier to maneuver, the quick release wand makes using a hose so much better, and the attachment for pet hair is amazing for clean the hair off my cat towers.

I have two dogs and they are shedding very bad. I have the other vacuum before this and it wasnt clean my house very well. So I bought this and tried it and I absolutely love it. I dont need to worry about the dog hair everywhere and not get pick up on the rug. I just wish the size of vacuum is a little bit compact.
