> 3 dayAs long as you manually set the height using the Set Focus feature on the Glowforge software, it will cut fine using the medium clear or medium black acrylic settings. These were all nice and flat with no warping. I saw some people had issues with the edges being rough or not cleanly cut, but mine had nice enough edges. I took one star off as the measurements are not exactly 12 x 12 x 1/8 but I did not need mine to be precise for what I was using it for.

> 3 dayOne of the biggest disappointments I found with my diode laser cutter (XTool D1 10 watt) was that it couldn’t cut clear acrylic - the beam just passes straight through. But that was offset by the fact that opaque colors were easily cut. These sheets are ideal for multiple uses, although I mainly use them to verify cut files before sending them out to a service bureau for cutting in metal. I find a cut speed of 2mm per second and 3 passes works great to cut completely through the material with my 10 watt laser. Engraving can be done much faster. This is superb material for use in lasers. The cut is extremely thin, allowing for very efficient usage. It is substantial enough for most uses, but lightweight and flexible. If you have a diode laser, this is the right material for you.

> 3 dayFor the love of god, look elsewhere for your acrylic needs. This came with no protective film. Markings all over it. And this does not feel like other acrylics... more like a flexible plastic. It cuts terrible in the laser. Melts easily even on low power and deforms. The material is not glossy, either, as you can see in the photo next to actual glossy acrylic. I thought Id try using it and see how it did.. what a mistake. I should have returned it instantly. The seller has refunded my money (minus $2 for some reason). So good for them.. I did not even request it. They read my review and refunded.

> 3 dayI ordered these acrylic sheets to cut down for small shelves in a custom niche in my home office that will hold small glass items and keepsakes. The niche is recessed into the wall, 8” wide/deep, and 60” tall. A smart light at the top shines down with color-changing effects, so I wanted the shelves to be clear. I chose these 1/5-inch-thick xTool acrylic sheets to ensure that they would not sag under the weight of small keepsakes. I ordered a 2-pack that arrived securely packaged and exactly as described. Each sheet measures 12” x 12”. The 1/5-inch thickness is heftier than I expected and akin to a 1/4” piece of heavy-duty glass, except it’s lighter than glass and doesn’t break. Each sheet is protected on both sides by a semi-opaque plastic film that peels off easily. Once the acrylic surface is exposed, it is crystal clear and blemish-free. When I cut the sheets down, I used a jigsaw. I left the protective film on while cutting so I would not scratch the surface, and I applied a 2-inch-wide strip of masking tape along the cutlines for more protection. These sheets are high-quality acrylic—crystal clear and quite substantial. I was impressed by the quality, and the price isn’t bad considering that all acrylic products have become pricier lately. I am happy with this purchase and will buy this product again if I undertake similar projects in the future.

> 3 dayI ordered these to use as Art Boards, The surface is perfect for using Washi Tape to tape down paper for drawing or painting on. The thick surface is very sturdy and being acrylic, will not warp with moisture. Also being black, the surface wont show ink from bleed-through. Very happy with this versatile product.

> 3 dayFor some reason the under sink area in my kitchen is one long run so theres nothing dividing the under sink storage (cleaning supplies) from the under counter storage (pots, pans, etc). No idea why it was left like this but I want it separated and thought this would be perfect to build a little wall out of. I ordered this and some clear ones and was able to cut them to size and glue them together. They were easy to work with and Im happy with the final product!
