Blues Brothers

There we have rythm and blues movie. I have seen the light in it. You dont have to rewarm it. Its hot.The blues brothers are musicians who are on a mission for something greater. They seem to know all the criminal ways too making the not only a bit bit shady rebels.They have blues car a very faitful vechicle who runs till the end. There is spirit in that musicfilm. its the lonely and the only of its kind. .

Great film.

音楽好きな私が学生時代に見てそれ以来ベスト映画となりました。その後母に見せたところ、音楽よく知らないのにすごい！と興奮し、ツィギー世代で懐かしみ、ローハイドで喜びすっかりはまりました。また、夫に見せたところまたもや音楽好きではないのに音楽のすごさにはまり、さらにスターウォーズ好きでレイア出現に大興奮でファンになりました。さらに２歳の息子に見せたところ、乗り物好きでカーチェイスに大興奮し、その後は音楽にリズムを取るようになりアレサの歌声に聞き惚れ、英語で歌いだしました。そしてレイを見て「目が見えないのね」と言ったり、いきなり「オー、シット！」などと口走るように、、、いかんですね。とりあえず誰が見てもはまる要素があるんだなと実感しました。

This was a gift for my hubby who is a huge fan. He was amazed at the great quality of both picture and sound and loved the extra bits. It was great to see the guys on their mission from God on an up to date Blu-ray. Go Elwood & Jake!

As expected.

When I first saw The Blues Brothers, I expected to see a typical comedy with nothing else to offer. I was very wrong. You are taken along for a wild ride with Jake Blues (John Belushi) and Elwood Blues (Dan Akroyd). The two brothers have to reassemble theri band within a week, get enough gigs to earn $5000 to help the orphanage where they were raised stay in operation. All the while they make enemies from Nazis, rednecks, and of course the police.

This is an all-time classic! There is no reason to write any more about it. It seems to get better EVERY time you watch it.

Awesome music and lots of crazy fun. I highly recommend.

Ich hätte lieber die alte Original-Version gehabt. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, aber ich meiner, die Szene mit den Bullen kam im alten Film mehrmals vor. Und es gab eine Bullin, der Jake ständig versucht in den Ausschnitt zu schauen. Und es gab eine Abbiege-Szene mit left & right. All das fehlt, falls ich es mir nicht ausgedacht habe. Außerdem ist die deutsche Synchronisation absolut mangelhaft, es springt ständig zwischen deutsch und englisch hin und her. Die deutschen Untertitel entsprechen nicht den Dialogen. Ich würde die DVD am liebsten zurückgeben!
