I feel that this is the only way heat mats for reptiles should be sold as it makes it much safer for the animals! The value added here is absolutely fantastic as well as most reptile thermostats like this can be had for $30 to $40 by themselves with the heat mat costing an additional $20 to $40.

> 24 hourWere using this under my sons plastic sea monkey tank to keep the water at the right temperature. It wasnt quite warm enough before we started using this. I didnt peel off the sticky tape because its bigger than the tank itself. I had read that some people use mug warmers and other sea monkey owners use these. This mini pad so far is working fabulously! Weve been using it in conjunction with a sticker thermometer so we know exactly how much its heating up their water.
