Its not as good as some of the name brand ones Ive bought in the past but it would work as a backup if you needed it! Thermostat works good.

My baby (Majestic) is in the top tank ( but not for long, she’s getting a bigger tank as well). I have her heating pad under the tank ( 10 gallon & 6 X 8 pad) and the probe inside, on top of the heating pad, then the eco earth, then her hide, she’s been happy little camper. I will be upgrading her tank to a 25 gallon. And I will be getting a bigger heating pad for that tank. Plus a fogger/ humidity plus a controller for it! Plus other enrichment in her tank! Her light isn’t on 24/7. She does have a light on and at night a red light on. I’m still learning. I do recommend this heating pad and controller. Remember to get the appropriate size pad for the size tank you have!

temp wont set and customer service is awful. my snake could die cuz its too cold, they dont offer refunds, but will ship you a new one. I dont want another one i want to try another brand. It never heated any of my mats. Its a garbage chinese product. They didnt even care about my snakes health.

I have this on the bottom of a glass enclosure for my hamster. It is barely warm to the touch. I can faintly feel it from the other side of the glass. I got this to keep my hamster warmer in the winter. He doesnt notice it.

I like my house cold and my 3d print hot. Not dirty hot, warm hot. This does it for me.

Never seems to get up to 90. I dont have central AC and I live in south texas... I wouldnt think it would have a problem getting hot enough. But it works well enough.
