> 3 dayI thought I was paying good money for high-quality umbrella and it never worked. Unfortunately, I never tested it until I needed it and so I missed the window allowing me to return the product. First, it never opened. I followed the instructions online and found the manual with the instructions but it didnt help. The umbrella would shoot out but not open. Second, I was testing it again the next day and the umbrella completely broke separating from the base when I tried to open the umbrella again. The top project out and nearly hit my coworker. A piece of junk!!! UPDATE! The company read my review and contacted me about my broken umbrella. They felt terrible and offered a full refund or a replacement. I still wanted the umbrella so I opted for the replacement. I received it within a week. I tested it and the umbrella works great. The whole time someone from the company was keeping in contact with me making sure I received the umbrella and asking my opinion on it. Even though my first umbrella was a dud, they back their product and care about the customer. This is why I changed my rating from 1 start to 5. Nothing is perfect all the time, but with a company that cares about their product and the customer, eventually, the customer will be satisfied. Thanks!

> 3 dayI only used this umbrella twice. The second time there was a moderate wind and several of the support rods bent and broke. This will not hold up to wind.

> 3 daySo Ive had my umbrella for two whole years so far.I wanted to wait till I wrote a review..So here it goes. I live in the Caribbean we have a hot season and rainy season and an umbrella is a must for me.I found myself buying an umbrella every month or two as they would never last..I decided to do some research and find myself a really quality one as I was spending too much money on umbrellas. So I bought this. It had lots of great reviews, its windproof , has 12 ribs instead of the regular 8 that most umbrellas have, made of Teflon etc ( I honestly did not know these types of umberellas existed). This umbrella will completely bend back but never breaks..mine is still as good as new and just closes and opens with the click of a button. I will never buy another brand or any other type of umbrella again..Im a lifetime customer. Only con is that I dont think this company makes larger umbrellas..I would really want a nice large one as this one just fits one person,. But other than that it is 10 out of 10

Greater than one weekThe umbrella is easy to open, a little hard to close but definitely manageable. It fits in my purses, looks great and I love the reflective rim it has, great for when Im out late & its raining.

Greater than one weekWhen this umbrella first arrived a few days ago, I thought it was broken. No matter how much I pressed the button, and shook the umbrella, and tried to adjust the shaft, it wouldnt open. Figured something might have happened in transit, as the umbrella was in a box with NO protection to keep it from rattling around (a lot) in the box. Practically had to force the umbrella open. But once open, it is certainly impressive in size, and looks well made, with the umbrella fabric that looks thicker/sturdier than a similar, Loleemon 62 umbrella that I have. BUT, then I went to close the umbrella, and it would NOT latch. I tried many times, even pressing the button at the same time to get the umbrella past the button. No dice--the umbrella kept springing open. I started a return process, which took considerable time in a chat, then went to pack up the umbrella, which would only stay closed with the two ties holding the canopy in place. Then a strange thing happened. After I bound the umbrella with the ties to put it back in the box, I glanced back at the handle, only to find that the umbrella had LATCHED closed! Dont know how that happened, but I pressed the button, and this time, the umbrella opened easily. Tried to close the umbrella again, but could NOT get it to latch. Maybe I got a lemon, but then discovered the following... TIP: To close the umbrella, I have to wrap my whole hand around the moveable shaft, and pull the umbrella closed, firmly and quickly, and then it will latch without any problems. Usually with other umbrella, I just have to wrap my thumb and forefinger around the moveable shaft and lightly pull it closed. That does NOT work with this umbrella. Still, all in all, this looks like a great umbrella. The real test however, will come when I actually try it out in the rain.

> 3 dayThis is a sturdy umbrella. Have not tried it in the wind yet but it seems like it will hold up. Does hold the rain inside when closing. Gives you a chance to stay drier and empty water out. Great automatic open and close. Definitely need muscles to completely close and fasten strap. Great purchase.

> 3 dayNice umbrella, just wish it was a little bit bigger. I can’t say how long it will last but it seems like it is made very well. My last umbrella was kind of expensive and this one is made better and is cheaper. Of course I can’t fit it back into the little Bad after using it. It’s like trying to fold a fitted sheet or a tent and putting it back in its packaging lol

22-11-2024Seems like an extremely well made and sturdy umbrella. I love the size, bigger than most compact umbrellas so it protects me better, but not so large that its a liability when the wind is blowing hard or so its unwieldy when negotiating your way around with others on a crowded sidewalk. I feel the same about the handle, most compact umbrellas have tiny short handles that are hard to keep a firm grip on, this ones longer and more comfortable to hold. Its just hard plastic though and I wouldnt mind if it was rubber covered so it was a little more non slip. Still, not enough of an issue to ding it a star for. The leather cover is ok, but its kinda large so I dont use it. The nylon sleeve is nothing special but it works and is more compact so thats what I carry it in. I commute to work using public transportation and part of that commute includes a 1/2 mile walk so my umbrellas get used regularly. My last umbrella while durable was too small in diameter and the handle was atrocious so I got this one to replace it. So far so good. If it doesnt stand the test of time Ill be back to update my review!
