> 3 dayNice umbrella, just wish it was a little bit bigger. I can’t say how long it will last but it seems like it is made very well. My last umbrella was kind of expensive and this one is made better and is cheaper. Of course I can’t fit it back into the little Bad after using it. It’s like trying to fold a fitted sheet or a tent and putting it back in its packaging lol

Greater than one weekThere are a ton of options on Amazon when it comes to travel umbrellas. Ultimately, I chose this one primarily because I wanted better quality, canopy size, and strength. I have used it about a dozen times so far, though not in significant wind, but here are my takeaways. Seems reasonably well made, but nothing that stands out other than the rib count and the fact that they use fiberglass in the rib construction. Here are the cons: despite being 210t, the black fabric is thin enough to allow light through which seems odd. It does seemsto shed water quite well due to the teflon coating, well see if it lasts. The handle is hard plastic, I was expecting a rubberized surface with more grip, and its frankly smaller than it should be. The strap is wide nylon webbing, and the opening is not large enough for more than meduim-large size male hands. There is slop in the shaft as you spin the umbrella left and right. May be of no consequence as far as performance, but makes it feel less solid. and finally, the open close action seems unbalanced. The umbrella opens lazily, but snaps closed with great force. The force required to close and cock the mechanism is not insignificant, either. Doesnt really bother me, but it might bother others. I suspect this might be an earlier version of this umbrella, and if so, I would suggest trying the newer one. For the money, not a bad value, but I was expecting to be more impressed.

> 3 dayI love how it opens and closes and seems really sturdy for the strong winter winds that broke my last umbrella! The only thing I noticed is that it doesn’t go back into its case very easily.

> 3 dayI walk a lot and an good umbrella is essential. I already own 2 other inverted umbrellas, and decided to try this one too. It is durable and matches the description. I think it would be great to use when entering a car, but I dont drive enough to care about this. While I like the product, I personally will not purchase this again because it is noticeably heavier to carry. Also when it opens and closes (you push a button) it goes with such force, that I question if this will be the feature that will fail first. If you dont plan on needing to carry an umbrella daily or will use it to keep in the car, it is perfect. If not there are lighter inverted umbrellas.

> 3 dayI have three requirements when buying umbrellas: 1) big, 2) has a push button, 3) is reverse folding. This umbrella satisfies all conditions! Summer has started and I was tired of getting soaked in the constant surprise rain, so I bought this to keep in the car. If you’ve ever tried to manually close an umbrella in the rain while trying to get in a car and closing the door at the same time…..you know how messy it can turn out. This is why a push button is so important for instantly opening and closing the umbrella. The reverse folding is also very necessary unless you want to get your surroundings wet after the umbrella’s closed. It’s also super sturdy and definitely a higher quality than the other umbrella I bought from another brand on Amazon (which also satisfies my three requirements and is cheaper but also looks cheaper).

> 3 dayTo start with: the leather cover is not. It is vinyl. This is why the deducted star. However . . . as something to shove a wet umbrella into, a vinyl sheath is way better than leather. So maybe I shouldnt have deducted . . ? Whatever. After literally decades of using a cheapie ($2-3) umbrella to keep in the car, I was finally unable to find it for sale anymore. So I came here and looked for something. I decided to look for something sturdy rather than small -- size is less of an object for a car umbrella than a pocket umbrella, and the really compactly-folding ones tend to have only 6 ribs and to be hard to fold up. I also wanted to be able to fold the canopy closed with the button -- its very handy when getting into the car in heavier rain to not have to use two hands to try to pull the umbrella completely closed before you can bring it in and shut the door. I have only used this umbrella once, well several times but only in one rain event, but I can already see it was the perfect choice: sturdy, easy to open through a narrowly opened door, fairly easy to close the canopy to bring it back inside the car. The button IS a bit stiff, but makes it harder to accidentally close the umbrella as one reviewer mentioned had happened. I very much recommend this umbrella to anyone looking for an umbrella to keep in the car.
