> 3 dayThis is by far the best toothpaste Ive ever tried. I have sensitive teeth due to using harmful whitening toothpaste for years so I HAVE to have toothpaste for sensitivity, and this has actually helped while still whitening my teeth. I dont think Ive ever used a toothpaste that has worked so well at removing the yellow staining. A huge bonus for me as well is Ive grown a weird reaction to most toothpaste that causes the inside of my mouth to start peeling off (seriously gross) and I dont have that reaction to this. If youre curious about this brand I say just go ahead and try it. As long as you use as suggested (ie do not rinse mouth afterwards) I doubt youll be disappointed. Ive already suggested to multiple people to make the switch because I love this toothpaste so much.

> 3 daySticker shock, Ill admit. $12 for a tube of toothpaste hurts the wallet a bit. But I wont use any other kind of toothpaste now. Leaves my mouth feeling fresher and my teeth feeling clear than it would when I used a fluoride toothpaste.

> 3 dayI’ve been using this Boka toothpaste for about a month. I am NEVER going back to regular toothpaste. I was struggling with tooth sensitivity and had a rather large and embarrassing cavity forming between two of my front teeth. I heard hydroxyapatite can remineralize your teeth so I decided to try it. IT WORKS. Within a week I noticed my tooth sensitivity was decreasing. Within two weeks I noticed that my cavity was visibly lighter in color. Now a month in it is smaller, and a light grayish color instead of the dark brownish-black it was. It literally looks like a stain instead of a cavity. On top of that, my mouth just feels cleaner and healthier. My teeth are definitely whiter. And the flavor is nice and mild, unlike some toothpastes that are too minty and burn my mouth. I’m SO impressed. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone.

> 3 dayFor decades Ive suffered from skin peeling on the inside of my mouth after brushing my teeth. I thought it was a normal part of brushing your teeth since Ive experienced it for so long. I just assumed that it happened to everyone and was a sign that the active ingredients in the toothpaste were doing their job and cleaning your mouth. It was only after a dental hygienist took a huge piece of gooey and disgusting dead skin out of my mouth and showed it to me that I realized that this wasnt normal. She asked me what toothpaste I used, and I told her Crest 3D White. She told me to try using toothpastes free of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) since thats a common irritant. I tried Arm & Hammer Essentials toothpaste since its SLS free, and while it helped a bit, I was still experiencing quite a bit of skin peeling in my mouth. I thought this was the most I could hope for and resigned myself to always suffering from this problem for the rest of my life. Fast forward several months and I randomly came across an article online written by a dentist which included the top 5 toothpastes that he recommends. And in that article he recommended Boka toothpaste as his top choice for a fluoride-free toothpaste and went on to explain that the active ingredient in Boka toothpaste was something called Hydroxyapatite - which has been the gold standard anti-cavity ingredient in Japanese toothpaste for decades. Ive never really been paranoid about avoiding fluoride, but I decided to give Boka toothpaste a shot since I figured that Japan seems to have pretty good health and safety standards in general. And so if they trusted Hydroxyapatite, then it was probably safe and effective. I also asked my dentist about it, and he gave it the thumbs up. I was so happy when I used it the first time and experienced ZERO irritation. No stinging, which I always experienced with normal toothpaste, and, most importantly, NO SKIN PEELING ON THE INSIDE OF MY MOUTH. I was thrilled, and surprised. I couldnt believe that I finally found a solution to this chronic allergic reaction to normal toothpaste that Ive been experiencing for my entire life, and only after one use! And so this toothpaste gets a 5 stars from me for that alone. To rate the other aspects of the toothpaste, the mint taste seems more mild and natural. And so thats a plus as well. But theres a couple of minor downsides. 1) its a bit pricey, but thats not a deal breaker for me since I only use a pea sized amount twice a day; whereas with other toothpastes I used to use about an inch of toothpaste. 2) the twist-off cap is slightly annoying since Im worried about dropping it and having to wash it. I much prefer the always-attached flip cap design on more mainstream toothpastes. And 3) I prefer the metallic bodies of old school toothpaste tubes since it makes it easier to roll it up as you use it and get every last drop out of it. But again, those 3 minor gripes arent enough to prevent me from giving this toothpaste 5 stars. Ill always be grateful for this company and a loyal customer for creating a toothpaste which cured a chronic health issue that I had been dealing with ever since I was a kid. Please never stop making it!

> 3 dayI cut dyes out of my daughters foods, but never thought to look into other products. Well recently I became aware that toothpaste has not only dyes, but SLS (sodium laurel sulfate). Ive always known that toothpaste has a neurotoxin known as flouride, but not how it could be effecting my toddlers teeth. After we started using flouride (about 18 months old, when she could understand you cant swallow the toothpaste) she developed dark staining on her front two teeth. I immediately took her to the dentist, and they told me it was from sugar sitting on her teeth after nursing. I never argued that, until we switched to BOKA. A month after boka, my girls staining was less noticeable. My husband also uses this kind because mint makes him gag (on the spectrum) and he says his teeth have never felt so clean. I have ocd with my teeth, and this is the first Flouride-free paste that feels like it cleans my teeth well. No grittyness or film is leftover. I have always suffered from sensitive teeth, and our dds has suggested letting sensodyne sit on my teeth. Again, I never questioned it. After 2 months of using boka, I dont even think twice about eating ice cream or drinking a cold drink. Our dds confirmed that our teeth are in tip top shape, and a soft spot I had last visit (6 mos ago) is no longer soft, just dark. After our exam, I told her we switched to flouride free and she was speechless. I have never in my life gotten a good report at the dds, and always chalked it up to bad genetics- after all I brush and floss at least 2x a day! This stuff is a miracle product, I tell everyone to switch from traditional toothpaste!!!! Wish it was available in stores, hopefully I can recruit enough customers that it will be!
