> 3 dayIm a professional cinematographer and filmmaker and needed something that could handle a number of daisy chained TB3 hard drives, 3x USB 3.0 drives, a TB 4k monitor, and speakers and this one works perfectly. I tested other high end docks on the market and they ultimately would fail when I utilized all the ports at once. Additional issues I had with other docks is that they would have a tough time handling 1.2 mini display port monitor. This one did not. I feel very confident giving this product 5 stars.

> 3 dayI have a Razer Core X and a CalDigit TS3 Plus. Both came with short cables. Tried both the CalDigit 2m cable and NekTeck 2m cables, both of which do not work. The original cables and an Apple 0.8m cable works with my devices. I am giving 2 stars because CalDigit knew about the incompatibility, but this is not stated on the product page.

> 3 dayDid my research as best as possible and went for this hoping for the best. Displays flickered every few seconds and in the end I resorted to the original Lenovo short cable. Great quality but clearly not suitable for some environments. This cable isnt alone in having issues with my simple configuration, so clearly a compatibility issue.

> 3 dayAll Thunderbolt 3 cables are expensive. This one is no exception. That said, it’s a very high quality cable and works flawlessly to connect my MacBook Pro to my CalDigit dock.

Greater than one weekCaldigit replied on another question that this cable should work with Lenovo TB3 Docks. It does not. I have 2 different Lenovo TB3 docks and test the cable with Lenovo Ts470s and X1c6 and get screen flickers with this cable. The slightest movement of the cable with also give you a static shower. I have a short passive Caldigit cable with works but this active cable does not do the job.

Greater than one weekI wanted to us this with my hub that had a built-in drive. I was really happy when I received it but unfortunately it shorted out after 2 weeks of us. This is not a cable I use when Im on the move. So, basically after setting it up I didnt move it. Not happy! I would not reconnect you purchase this cable.

Greater than one weekUnfortunately for all the tech junkies out there who wants a longer version of their current short Thunderbolt 3 cable, this cable does not work. I have now tested it on multiple devices and even though it allows some of the same data and connections through it does not fully allow everything through. Were all going to have to wait it seems for a company like Belkin to produce a longer cable as this companys cable seems to be a bust.
