> 3 dayCaldigit replied on another question that this cable should work with Lenovo TB3 Docks. It does not. I have 2 different Lenovo TB3 docks and test the cable with Lenovo Ts470s and X1c6 and get screen flickers with this cable. The slightest movement of the cable with also give you a static shower. I have a short passive Caldigit cable with works but this active cable does not do the job.

> 3 dayFirst The most important part I don’t unplug it daily maybe once a month and yet it Doesn’t last, went through 3 in less then a year! I should have know better to just stop buying after two, but sometimes you just don’t have time to search. For sure overpriced Chinese garbage. You would think a company wouldn’t want their name stamped onto that. If your company is good and charging a lot maybe do the opposite of what everyone is doing and actually make your own products in America.

> 3 dayFirst one clearly did not work. The screen would flicker. Amazon replaced it immediate. The second has worked great on a 4K setup

Greater than one weekThis is a good replacement or second cable for your Thinkvision monitor with USB-c inputs. This will provide both the video and power needed by the monitor. This is much less expensive than the OEM, Lenovo, cable of similar length.

> 3 dayI did not purchase one of these cables individually; instead, mine came with CalDigits own Thunderbolt 3 dock, the TS3 Plus. I havent had any issues yet with the TS3 Plus itself, but the cable is pretty disappointing. I paid extra to get the 2.0m cable with the dock, but also had an Apple-branded 0.8m cable sitting around. The Apple cable snaps snugly into the ports on both my laptop and the dock, where the CalDigit cable fits very loosely in both. The CalDigit cable has a lot of wobble in the port even when fully plugged-in, where the Apple cable is secure. Remember: this is the cable that came with CalDigits own TS3 Plus, their flagship Thunderbolt 3 dock, yet it somehow does not fit well into the ports on the dock. If Apple made an active, 2.0m Thunderbolt 3 cable, you can bet Id be replacing this cable with theirs.

> 3 dayI bought this to use with my Razer dock. Every time I slightly move the dock or computer, or bump the wire slightly, it disconnects. Ive done some testing to find the problem. I tried using this cord to simply charge my laptop, but found that the slighest bump will disconnect it there as well.

> 3 dayAfter trying a few thunderbolt 3 cables that didn’t support my dual displays, this cable did the trick and provided a longer distance than the TS3+’s included 0.8m cable.
