> 3 dayThe compressor is ultra quiet like advertised. the cut time cannot be adjusted to anything faster that 90 psi. Great for from carpenters but not for framing carpenters that have to drive 16 gauge nails on to LSL or thick stock in a quick shooting sequence.

> 3 dayCustomer works from home. Bought this because my old air compressor is so noisy. This was exactly what I wanted. A quality air compressor that is quiet. I was able to talk with my customer standing by it. We couldn’t believe how quiet it is. Great job California Air Tools!

> 3 dayWe are extremely pleased with this purchase. It is so quiet that we can hear each other talk when the compressor is running, unlike our previous one. We highly recommend it.

> 3 dayWow...this bugger is quiet. Not like refrigerator-running-quiet but compared to my last compressor...Wow!!! I can carry on a conversation standing right next to it. I had an issue after my first time using it...I used the relief valve to release the air in the tank. ( i was checking to make sure it worked). After that I dint use it for a few days and it WOULD not RUN. Couldnt figure out why. Called the CAT hotline and they helped me troubleshoot it. All good and no problems since. ( the pressure switch got stuck in the open postion and the motor stopped) once I got that unstuck...ALL GOOD!

> 3 dayI bought this air compressor 4 years ago. About 18 months the air compressor would fall on its face when letting air out the hose. I contacted support and they were very unhelpful. Simple things like asking me for purchase date and model number when I had included that in my original contact email. The warranty was for 12 months, so they wanted nothing to do with helping me out other than sending me a link to the parts page. Through some troubleshooting, I found the regulator to be faulty. I removed the regulator and the internal bits and found a lot of corrosion. I cleaned and lubricated the regulator pieces, but the output pressure was still stuck at ~20 PSI. Today, I had enough and took matters into my own hands. I removed the regulator and installed an brand regulator and mounted it on the compressor bracket. California Air Tools wanted $60 for the regulator, which is a ridiculous price for a part that failed so quickly. All is well now and I have the compressor back to working as intended. If California Air Tools reads this, I would suggest they use regulator internal parts that dont corrode so easily.
