This is defiantly the quietest and best air compressor I’ve ever purchased. I highly recommend this product a great value & quality for the money.

Perfect size unit with plenty of capacity, quick recovery and unlike the yellow one it replaced, it holds the air without leakage. Very quiet and I expect to get a lot of years of use from it.

This really meets the claim. It is light and quiet. Tank size is kind of small but the refresh rate is fast. It is so nice to have the compressor comeonand not have to leave the building or even raise your voice.

this is my second C.A.T. Compressor. they are the brand that I prefer due to their dependability and performance to noise ratio. it is worth spending the extra money on a quality tool if you use it day in day out and rely on it to put food on the table. After working with one of these, the louder compressors will just become irritating to you with the noise level they run at. the California air tools can be ran inside your clients house with no complaints of noise, conversating next to the tool while its running is not an issue. recommended for carpenters and professionals as well as DIYers. 5 stars.

This compressor is awesome, when they said it was quiet I sort of said to myself, yea right, but when I flipped that switch, I was in awe, you can whisper and be heard with this compressor running, it is light weight and I love the very looks of it, definitely will be buying a bigger one when my garage is completed, would give this 10 stars if I could.

We had another one (much bigger unit) that made huge LOUD noise. My husband bought this one for me. I like to blow off my lamp shadows and other things. By the way, hubby uses it to for the tires on the cars. Great price and GREAT item.

I traded this out with my old Air-Mate by Emglow, a reliable quality old-school twin-tank compressor of similar power. This one is WORLDS better. Twin brass QR outlets, so quiet you can tell your wife how much you love it while its running right new to to you, compact and well laid out. It should last a good long time, especially here in my small home shop. I’d say this is the best for the money out there. I opted for the steel tank version, saving seventy dollars, since I rarely move it at all, and it lives on a furniture dolly in my shop. Very well boxed up too, but they do use STYROFOAM INSIDE WHICH I HATE.
