I have the larger sized mix-media but really wanted the smaller one for portability. Canson is a great brand and I really like this smaller book.

Literally, this notebook will work for anything! Watercolors, acrylic (lightly), colored pencil, charcoal, you name it. Extremely satisfied.

Fantastic sketchbook for my high schooler!

I really like this size. I like that it is mixed media. Works well when I use acrylic too and watercolor. It has a good amount of pages. Nice and sturdy!

I like this notebook a lot so far! My only complaint about it is, once you’ve put enough paint on the page it begins to bend. It doesn’t seem to bubble much or anything like that, the pages stay firm in that sense. I was a tad concerned, even though they say that they’re multi-media I was skeptical of how they’d hold up with paint pens. They did well, other than the slight bending. Though I think once the book is closed long enough that won’t be a concern. All in all, I recommend the notebook for any beginner/artists in general who need a convenient sketch book!
