I ordered this for my son who loves to sketch and paint. He is using this notebook for both the purpose.

My go to sketchbook, it can take any medium and it my ideal size for class. It does warp a bit with acrylics but it works for homework assignments.

Best paper for water coloring. And, each sheet can be torn out leaving no edges. Our granddaughter loves it.

i love these! have been using these for a few years now for a lot of wet mixed media projects. takes heavy gluing and layers quite well and paints and markers also. i also use these a lot as art journals. i have not regretted using this paper thus far for all that i have used it for. :) the paper itself is not that slick shiny paper. it is just the right amount of matte. i would prefer it MORE matte, but this is just fine by me for my purposes thus far. it has just the right amount of sizing to take the amount of wet that i use.

Not really mixed media. I bought this mainly to use with watercolors and the paper doesnt seem to handle water too well. I used minimal amount of water, just enough to dampen the page and it just messed up the texture so bad. I wouldnt but it again unless its for sketching

Affordable and truely for mixed media. Also super easy to find in such stores as: dick block, Utrecht, Michaels. Good for water coloring & inking as long as you dont add a ton of water youll see minimal warping (as seen with the witch). Markers look amazing but will bleed through the page. The sun was made with Prismacolor chisel tips & the fire boy/frankenstien is made with Copics.

I carry a sketchbook constantly for drawings, sketch notes, etc. This is a thicker weight paper then I need for everyday but I love the feel of drawing on it. I always find myself reaching for this one. Also great for mixed media journaling as it handles variety of media well. Comes in different sizes, this is perfect as it’s not too big or too small.
