I’ve bought this sketchbook many times (on Amazon and in person) and can speak to how thick the paper is supposed to be. It’s usually very sturdy and can handle pens, acrylic, charcoal etc The most recent one I received has extremely thin paper that bleeds excessively. I doubt it can hold any paint. Save your money and buy it somewhere else. This is either fake or they changed the product quality

The papers pretty thick so it really is useful for differnt projects

I love this mixed media pad! I use gel pens and markers on mine, and havent had any issues with bleeding through the pages. I just have to remember to leave the book open long enough so the ink dries before closing it. I also love the perforated pages, so I can always nicely remove a page if I want to frame it, instead of it being relegated to a sketchbook page forever.

My teenage son needed a new sketch pad. He likes the size of this - its larger than most of his other sketch pads. The spiral wires on the side and gets in the way a little bit, but hes getting used to it. I usually buy ones with the spiral wire on the top. The paper is perfect for his pencil drawings. Hopefully this will last him a few months. Time will tell!

Great size. I love the thickness of the paper and how my sketches look on it. I just started to use a sketchbook to practice my artwork and so far I am very pleased with the quality of this book and how it takes colors and sketch lines.
