Carhartt Legacy Standard Work Backpack with Padded Laptop Sleeve and Tablet Storage, Navy, Medium

Fantastic, heavy duty and well built. The straps are well padded and distribute the weight of a heavy bag well. I fit 3 books, a binder, notebook, lap top, pencil bag, charger, and headphones in. There was still plenty of room for my wallet, keys, a lunch bag and another large book. Room for water bottles on the side pockets. Last semester the weight of my books killed my shoulders and the straps eventually started tearing. With a similar load this semester, my shoulders barely notice the weight. The zippers are heavy duty, it’s well constructed and I’m counting on this backpack to last. Another bonus is that it’s not enormous on my back. I wouldn’t call it “minimalist” but it’s also not bulky or tacky.

Total Quality, yet so lightweight. The outside pockets for water are great and the inside holds a lot. The Boys love them.

Just ok not that impressive but gets the job done

Great quality backpack with a noticeable increased amount of space. I use this for work have had it rub against a a 16d Nail in a tight space and I honestly couldnt find where the nail even scraped it. The space inside is also much better than a normal backpack so you can definitely fit much more in this. Its also heavily stitched at the appropriate places which makes it even stronger. This is definitely a long lasting backpack specially if used for casual use .

This is my second Carhartt backpack, only replaced because I lost my first one in a car fire. I have had a lot of backpacks in my life, from 5.11 and camelback tactical packs to Tom Bihn and Original Jansport bags. This backpack is extremely heavy duty, brass ykk zippers that have never failed. Bottle holders hold 1L capacity bottles with ease. This is by far the toughest backpack I’ve ever owned. I wish I had this nice of a bag in my school days. I would have only had to buy one instead of purchasing a new one every year.

I use this backpack for school and I LOVE IT! I love how neutral the color is and how durable the design is. I have a 15.6 laptop and it fits the laptop with extra space. The front pocket has a ton of compartments for pencils and a keychain holder. My only improvement would be the comfort of the straps, but otherwise, a great bag.

Ive been going into the office a few days a week, so I use this to lug my laptop in its sleeve in the rain, etc. Its worked fairly well so far, but if you have something you absolutely cant get wet, put it in the inner pockets.
