Used to route to the switch in my network rack. This patch went to the Cat 8 line running to my other switch. Not cheaply made cheap.

This ethernet cable is a great addition to my arsenal. Most importantly, I tested it, and iperf showed up to 947 Mbits/sec over this cable while connecting through a gigabit switch, which is as fast as Ive seen through that switch. Ill update when I can test through a 2.5 Gb connection. The flat shape of this makes it perfect for situations like going under a rug, though it does make it hard to make compound turns through tight spaces that arent flat to the end. I do wish Id gotten a longer length because of this, as the times it shines probably also require more than 6 feet. Fit and finish look good and materials sturdy.

I really like this cable design and construction. It is a 6 foot Cat8 Ethernet cable with a woven nylon cover and snagless RJ-45 connectors. What I really like about this, with the nylon cover and almost flat cable, it coils up easily and compactly for storing. That is great for travelers who need to pack a lot of electronics accessories in a limited space. I got this cable mainly for use while I travel and need or want a faster or more reliable wired connection with my laptop rather than a wireless connection. However, the flat design makes it a little more difficult to connect in tight spaces and go around corners. But, the cable seems to be very durable and well made and should hold up well. I also like the black and white check pattern; 1) It looks great with my laptop color, and 2) I know which cable is mine and no one can accidentally slip it into their bag. ;-) Overall, I think this is a great value, especially given the quality and design that went into this cable. I expect that it will hold up very well to all my travels and its many uses.

I honestly don’t know much about Ethernet cables, but this one seems great! was in need of a new Ethernet cable and started doing some research and found the Cat 8 was the best one I could get. I have a high speed of internet, but it seems like I’m never actually getting the speed I’m supposed to. I was thinking it was my internet provider, but after researching Ethernet cables I realized it could be the cable I was using. Ethernet 8 cables allow for the highest speeds. So, I wanted to give it a try. This is really well made. It is flat with a woven material along it. My favorite part about it is the little clip that you push in when inserting it. The main reason I needed a new Ethernet cable was because the little plastic clip on my old one had broke off. It was so flimsy that it wasn’t surprising it broke, which was why I started researching Ethernet cables to see if I could find one that wouldn’t be as flimsy. The one on this is wider and thicker and seems a lot more durable, so I’m hopeful it’ll hold up a lot longer than my last one. Plus, this one is Cat 8, which is much better than my last one! After connecting it, I noticed my speed was way better than I’d had before, so then I was even happier with this! Overall, I think it’s a great, well made Ethernet cable for a good price!

My gaming experience hit an all time high with using this cable

Both the ends and cable appear to be very sturdy. I plugged directly into a router to an older laptop and it worked fine. I would recommend.

You can never have too many cat cables. One is always lost or damaged or in use so it never hurts to make sure you have extras. I prefer to hardwire devices when I can to the network instead of bogging down my home WiFi signal. This was great!

This cord serves its purpose but I dont all the way trust the quality of the cord. The braided line feels like it could crack with minimal moving around and that doesnt make me fee comfortable with the longevity of the product. It functions well as of right now and I continue to monitor its function but I have my doubts as time goes on.

The cable seems like its well made. I like the easy to press down tab for easy removal should I need to change ports.

Alright, maybe you dont intend to staple this to a wall but it can take it. Its strong enough to handle staples and probably some light foot traffic, so if you need to run a network cable where its going to get rough this will handle it. And its cat 8, so you can get that 10 GbE across the small war zone for that LAN party youre setting up. Or maybe just get your smart TV hardwired to make room on your WiFi for that smart toaster, the possibilities are endless!
